"Why didn't you hold him!" Aizawa shouted uncharacteristically.

"We had nothing to charge him with," Tsukakauchi told him.

"Couldn't you have charged him as an accomplished to the league of Villains?"

"No! First off we have no hard evidence that he is associated let alone involved with the League. Also even though we know he is Associated with them we have no evidence that he is directly involved in their activities. You can't really charge someone for being friends with criminals. If you could visiting days in jail would be very lonely. Besides let's say hypothetically if we did have some tangible proof he was involved in criminal activity, which we don't, we could have maybe held him for a few more hours. Then a lawyer would have shown up, and bail would be posted, and then everything becomes a mess!"

"You couldn't stall him or at least do something to keep him here longer?"

"Look I don't like it any better than you do. But as the police its our job to uphold the law. Even if we wanted to keep him we couldn't. As far as the media is concerned the kid was just assaulted in public by YOUR students." Tsukauchi huffed back, "You should be thankful all he did was file a public report and not press any charges or claims. He just filled out the report and went on his merry way."

Aizawa grumbled as he always did and started to rummage though his hair. "What is that boy up to? He's way too clever." Aizawa asked rhetorically not wanting to even think about Deku planning something against them. Deku was so smart, so clever, and the thought of him planning something against his friends and U.A was too bone chilling to think about. It felt haunting.

Unaware of the storm that was blowing Kaachan happened to run into Inko on the opposite side of town. Kaachan wouldn't find out about Deku until her returned to U.A and Inko wouldn't find out about it until the evening news. In the meantime, the two had a rather friendly exchange.

Kaachan glanced over as he placed some produce in his basket. He was doing some shopping for his mother when he saw her best friend and Deku's mother. Her eyes drooped dark, low, and glistened like dripping globes. She seemed slimmer than the last time he had seen her and part of him felt sorry for the women. He wasn't personally close to her but still, some part of him decided to reach out to her. What compelled him to do this unlikely act was hard to say. Perhaps he felt sorry for her, pity. Maybe it was because she was his mother's friend. Or even it might have been because she was Deku's mom. Whatever the reason was he moved in her direction.

She hadn't seen him until he spoke to her, "Mrs. Midoriya?" The woman dropped the head of broccoli she was holding and Kaachan caught it midway on its path to the ground, placing it back in her hands. "I didn't mean to startle you." He cursed in his head for acting so polite it just didn't feel natural and the whole exchange started to feel awkward even though it had just started.

"No, no, it's my fault for spacing out." She smiled but her eyes didn't glow. "You are Mitsuki's boy aren't you?"

"Yep."

Inko laughed lightly, "It's good to see you, You have gotten so big and would you look at those muscles!"

Kaachan smirked at that. "I saw you and wanted to know if you need a hand with your groceries."

Inko's eyes widened, "oh-no I couldn't possibly...." She stopped and smiled her wet eyes softening into something less fragile and more relaxed. "Actually yes, please. I would like that. I would like that very much."

"I'm don't picking up the stuff off my mom's list is there anything else you need to buy?"

"just a few more things, I won't be long. Do you mind waiting by the check out for me?"

Kaachan nodded and left to purchase the items in his basket for his mother. He leaned on a wall beside the door afterward waiting for Inko. What was he even doing, this wasn't like him? He sighed and rubbed his shoulder only a few weeks ago had it been dislocated by Deku. Now it was healed and didn't hurt but still... Kaachan clenched his fist smoke rising from the fingers but he made sure no explosion went off. He needed to get stronger! He was too Weak! But something pestered him, how did Deku, weak, wimpy, pathetic, loser, Deku get to be so stronger in barely a year or so?

"Thanks for waiting." Inko smiled clumsily waving as a bung of bags clunk together.

Kaachan pulled the bags from her hand easily lifting them all even though she was struggling just a moment ago trying to handle all of them. She giggled a little smiling for the first time in a while.

"How about you and your parents come over tonight for dinner?"

Kaachan nods resisting the urge to call his mom Old Hag, "hmmm, Mom would probably like that."
