"I'm back" Deku called when he walked in. He saw a sleeping Dabi on the couch and heard his nickname "Deki!" Being called in another room gradually growing closer. Toga appeared jumping towards him with a knife.
Deku caught the knife in one hand and her in the other. He put her down and took the knife out of her hand before letting her go. "Really Toga?"
"Te-he!" She giggled inoccent. " Ne-ne what happened to you? Your clothes are dirty and you've got some injuries."
"Let's just say that I had a little run in with some old friends of mine."
"Why don't you bring me with you?"
"It's not like I expected to run into them."
"Soooo?" Toga asked swaying slightly.
"So what?"
"Didtchya kill em!"
Deku raised an eyebrow, "Let's just say that I let them off with a warning this time."
"Boo. Boo. Did they even put up a good fight?"
"They've improved but, no once I got a tiny bit serious they fell easily."
"Aww I wish I could have seen it."
"Well you look mess as well, haven't you been training?"
"Mmm. I was playing with the newbies."
"Bullying them you mean." Deku hung up his coat and folded his cuffs up.
"I would say that." Toga rolled her eyes.
The door opened up and Shigakari stormed in upset. "You traitor!" He darkly growled.
"I'm sorry?" Deku asked slightly confused.
"I saw you with them!" Shigaraki launched his hand foward brushing against Deku's skin.
The surface turned black and instead of feeling a burning sensation it felt cold almost numbing as the black eroded into nothing.
"Che-" Deku clicked his tounge "If that's how it's going to be..." He ran foward with One for All and Shadow sight. He kicked Shigakari stomach sending him flying at the door.
The door broke open and shigakari rolled out on to the street he pushed himself up and whipped a cut lip. He flexed his fingers while Deku stepped over the splintered door.
"What is going on?!" Toga yelled and then puffed up a pouting face, like a chipmunk with its cheeks full. She moved outside to watch them but was itching to join. She knew she shouldn't but she could still watch what happens next. She watched the two exchange blows. Deku deflecting Shigakari attacks. Deku aimed to trip him but the pale man surprisingly jumped high dogging the low attack and even countered.
Toga jumped up to a roof top to get a better look. She put her hand above her eyes and smiled, "woah! That was a close call for Deki!!!"
Shigaraki dogged upwards to another attack, this time he flipped in the air and put his hand forward to land on Deku's head. Deku stepped away from the hand and grabbed the arm. Shigaraki twisted and sent his other hand on Deku's grip. The disappeared spot spread eating up the arm. With one hand Deku slammed Shigakari into the ground. He stumbled back a little sweat dripping down his cheek despite the numbing frost that pressed his chest.
Shigaraki rose up Grumbling, he was flexing his fingers again. Both of them stood still waiting for the other to move. Whoever moved first would lose. The stillness sent shivers up Toga's spine. She had never seen Shigariki like this before. He looked hurt almost betrayed, not quite angry or sad but a swalling hole of complex emotions that were eating him in from the inside.
The frozen movements grew uneasy after around 15 seconds, it was too long someone had to move! That someone was Deku.
Checkmate.
Toga nearly fell of the roof and then covered her mouth; she lost her balance and fell the sight below vanishing from her sight but lingering in her mind as she looked at the grayish blue sky.
Shigaraki's eyebrows went up when Deku shifted his feet and begun to move, it was Deku's loss. This was it. Shigaraki watched tell slow his brain was processing everything so fast time felt like it was slowed to a halt. In all the calculations one made its way through. He put his hand out. In the only place that he knew would work.
Deku knew he couldn't win and someone had to move. He had been still for too long. If he stayed it would be a stalemate or he would lose by letting his guard down. He lashed foward carefully watching Shadow sight to adjust his movements. The closer he approach the more confusing the shadows became. Many were coming and going at rapid rates, some duplicated only slightly different it was confusing to see and impossible to interpret. It disoriented Deku and he turned it off a few moments away from the encounter.
Shigariki took a step foward with an outstretched hands, with impeccable timing. It was so smooth and perfect as a if the last piece puzzle snapped into place. At the exact moment Deku's foot came in contact with the ground Shigakari's hand harmoniously touched Deku's forehead. In seconds the body was nothing. Deku was gone forever, he would never return... Shigaraki dropped his hand to his side. The adrenaline and energy was being sapped away.
The hand that had killed Deku started to tremble violently. Shigaraki looked at it and clenched it into a fist to stop it from shaking.
