His eyes sink into his skull while his pupils darted back and forth. His unusually large ears wiggle picking up every sound including the wrapper crunching under his foot. He was abnormally observant, and had a good memory too. That was why he made one of the best spies. He couldn't be a hero, and he couldn't be a villain because he was too weak. But he refuse to be a normal person, so he became a spy. And under the cover of a broker his life would be safe, and payments always fair. Unless you got caught that was. He wasn't so unnimble that he would be found out. That was how he managed to survived for so long.
There are many reasons why he received his name "Rat." His big ears, large eyes, overbitten teeth, appearance said it all. But deeper than that was his personality and skill. He was sneaky able to climb into any crevice. He was cunning and never got ensnared in mousetraps. He was dirty like the sewers he crawled in. Not to mention all the trash he dug up. Rat was the perfect word to describe him inside and out.
"You're late." A voice came from the shadows of the meeting place.
"Sorry, I was having trouble getting out."
"Were you followed?"
"Yes for a while, but I lost him on my way. I always lose them before I meet."
The man stepped out of the shadows. His hands hung low and in his pockets but his face looked burnt or purple in the lighting it was hard to tell which color they truly where. "Tell me what you've learned so far as quickly as possible, I'm tired and want to go back and take a nap."
"Don't worry, I won't take long, in fact everything I have is written down here plus some official documents I copied these should help."
Rat held out the orange envelope, the man with burned, purple skin took it with pleasure, "The Brokers got your money go to him for payment."
"Of course, would you like to extend your deal?"
"Sure add on another week, come back and if we like what you gave me today you might become very rich."
Rat licked his lips, "All right sir." He said talking his leave with Glee.
Dabi yawned, it was time to return to the noisy place. "Ugg." He groaned out loud, "I wish Kurogiri could warp me there, so I didn't have to walk."
As this meeting transpired and concluded a new meeting was taking place. Deku was talking to Scrap when Tsukauchi saw him. He almost blew his cover as he pushed the feeling in his stomach down and bit his lip. He should have expected this, after all the suit Kacchan gave them was Deku's. He and the force have been staking out the shop after figuring out where it was. They all ready knew about the Underground Market. However The black market was too large to eradicate but everything seemed to work like a regular Market, besides the fact that things where a little less civil and nearly every thing happening was illegal. If they did manage to eradicate it by some miracle a new one would grow and in a place, they wouldn't know about. So, for the time being they left the place alone and monitored it.
He couldn't quite hear what they were saying but kept his eyes glued on the shop. The two disappeared for a while going into the back of the store. When they finally came out Deku had changed clothing. He seemed pleased with the tan man as he left the store. Tsukauchi was careful to follow without being noticed and all was going well until Kacchan showed up. He was on patrol with another Hero. Tsukauchi heard that the Hero's where doing more internships, but the black market is not a place for any heroes let alone ones in training. Honestly what was his mentor doing bringing Bakugo in here.
Tsukauchi couldn't do anything but silently watch and pray kacchan wouldn't notice Deku. Kacchan walked passed Deku and Deku did the same. Tsukauchi let out a sigh of relief, all too soon. The two turned sharply at the same time and clashed.
