Marinette

I woke up at 4 am.

Again.

My arm was giving me a hard time, and because of it, I couldn't sleep properly. I looked outside the window, at the calm and quiet night city.

"This has to stop."

I looked at Adrien who was looking at me, with his arms crossed. He hadn't left in the past 3 days, so he knew I wasn't getting enough sleep.

"It's not like I have any control over it." I said.

"Marinette..." He paused, walking a bit closer. "Your body needs rest. You need rest!"

"I'd love to, but I can't even get comfortable! So please sto scolding me." I whisper yelled.

He sighed.

"Fine!" He said, and took a seat on the bed.

"What are you doing?" I exclaimed.

"You said you couldn't get comfortable. I assume if the arm. Do let me help you." He answered.

"I am NOT sleeping on the same bed with you!"

"Marinette. We're roommates. And I only want to help you." He said.

I sighed and didn't stop him this time. He crawled under the sheets and acted as my left side's pillow.

"Here. Is it better now?" He asked.

I didn't answer. I wasn't going yo admit defeat.

"I'll take your silence as a yes." He mumbled, and I could already feel my cheeks burning. Thank god it was dark.
To be honest, I slept better that night. My arm didn't hurt anymore, and was warmer. I guess I should thank that idiot in the morning.

Adrien

Warm

It was so warm that morning, that I didn't ever want to leave the covers of this bed. Or her. I had woken up a while ago, but Marinette was still sleeping soundly. Safe.
She looked so calm and peaceful, that I couldn't bear to wake her up. I just stayed there, on the bed, softly stroking her hair. I sighed, remembering the agony that I went through till I knew she was okay. Marinette was important to me. Of course I wasn't going to tell her that. But, she was unlike ant other girl I'd met. Sweet, innocent and hardworking, but also strong and firm when she had to. She was funny and smart, and just generally a person you could have fun with. But it was more than that. At first, she was just the playing-hard-to-get girl; that's what I thought at least. But then, she was more. I understood she didn't have any interest in me, nor in my money. And that was a first for me, which only made me wanting her to be interested.

Suddenly, I felt movement and a slight groan. I looked down at her elegant face. Her eyes were barely open, just enough to see basic structures.

"Good morning." I said, stroking her hair once more.

"Good morning." She smiled.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Better than ever." She answered.

I smirked and slowly got out of the bed.

"Thank you." She said.

I turned around to look at her. She was smiling.

"Thank you, for taking care of me."
