Marinette

I was almost finished with dinner. I wa still wearing Adrien's shirt, along with a pair of white skinny jeans. He was on his bed, studying. STUDYING. The apocalypse must be close. So I was halfway done with the chicken, when my phone started ringing. It was in my bag.

"Adrien! Can you please bring me my phone?" I yelled.

"Hold on."

After a few seconds, he came into the kitchen, with my phone.

"It's Alya. What are you making?" He asked.

"Chicken and rice. Can you take over?" I said, pretty much forcing him to do that.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi, Marinette, I know it's been a while, but can you please come over here. I need to talk to you." Alya said. I could hear her voice was unsteady.

"Sure, but is everything okay?"

"Just come here!" She said, before hunging up.

"Adrien, I'm sorry but I have to go."

"What about dinner?" He asked.

"You're just going to have to eat by yourself."

I left the apartment, concerning myself more about Alya than him, at the moment. Once I arrived outside her dorm I knocked twice and waited.

"Come in!" I heard her say.

I turned the knob to the right, and heard a small creek as the door opened. There was an upset Alya, with tears in her eyes.

"What happened?" I asked, as I hurried over to hug her.

"It's Nino." She stuttered.

"What did he do to you? I swear I'll kill him if-"

"No, Marinette! He didn't do anything! I think I might have!" She cried.

"What?" I said.

We both sat down at the beds, and I offered my best friend a couple of tissues.

"Calm down and tell me what happened." I patted her back."

"Okay." She took a deep breath.

I sat there waiting for explanations.

"So, Nino and I had this big fight about... a lot of things. It begun with me telling him to not leave his stuff around like that, but the subject kept changing, and anyway, we fought badly. Then I shouted at him, and told him he should leave. I was angry and I didn't mean it, but he left and he has been gone for hours. I called his friends and he's not with any of them. And now I noticed that the car was missing, and I heard about a car crash at the news and I just can't-"

"Okay, Alya! Calm down." I stop an incoming panic attack.

She took a deep breath and seemed to be calmer.

"You're just thinking about the worst case scenario! Nino is very responsible and he's a good driver." I comforted her.

"But you don't understand! He seemed ver sad and angry! I think I snapped him!"

"Alya, calm down! I have never seen you like this. You're usually the one telling me to calm down!" I said.

"I know. I don't know why! All I know is that I have this feeling, like a drum."

She suddenly stopped sobbing and looked at me with a pair of dead serious eyes. The transition was frighting.

"Alya?"

"Marinette! I think..."

"What?" I asked.

"... I think I'm in love with him." She answered.

"Good!" I smiled. "You figured it out!"

"Yeah..." She looked at the wall with a blank expression.

"It's not bad, you know."

"I know, I know. But can you please head to the highway, where the accident happened, just to check?" She asked.

"Yeah of course. Which Highway?" I asked.

"401"

"Okay. I'm on my way!"

I left the apartment, and headed to the parking lots, where my car was placed. I hurried in and drove carefully to where the accident had happened. I underestimated the crash. I thought it was simple, but what I came face to face was a scene from a destruction movie. Cars upside down and on fire. People running around, helping the ones that were trapped inside cars. It was a mess. I hoped Nino wasn't there, because if he was, it would take a long time to find him. But thankfully, just I was about to go searching, I heard him call my name.

"Marinette?"

I turned around and was so glad to see he was safe.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"Alya sent me to check if you were okay." I answered.

"How did she know I was here?"

"She didn't for sure. She was just scared." I said.

"So, she's not angry anymore?"

"Nino, she was crying because she was scared for you. I have never seen her so upset."

"I see." He muttered.

"Let's get out of here. You can talk back at the dorms." I suggested.

He nodded and got back into his car. I was glad he was okay. Now Alya could rest. I got into my car and took my phone out so I could text Alya. I wish I had done than later.

"Marinette!" Nino yelled all of a sudden.

Before I could figure out what was happening, a pair of bright lights came towards me, and then...
