Marinette
So, there was this awkward silence between us, for a couple of minutes. He just stared at me, as did I.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in!" He said, breaking the silence, and closing the door behind him.
"Is this really your dorm?" I groaned, hoping that he would say no.
"I have a key, don't I?" He answered.
"Right!" I sighed. Well the roommate thing was a disappointment, but there were more things to come!
"What, you would rather to have someone else as your roommate? Other girls would kill to be in your place!" He exclaimed, looking right into my eyes with an awful smirk.
"Then why don't you go to one of them?" I asked, with a smirk of my own.
He frowned and began walking towards me. He looked amused with my behaviour.
"You're different!" He mumbled, as he stood right in front of me. Like, centimetres away from me. I could see how much taller than me he was.
"If by different, you mean not obsessing over everything you do, then yeah!" I said, pushing him away.
He smirked and fell back onto one of the beds. I raised an eyebrow, as he exhaled deeply, like he had just returned from excercising.
"Being famous is a tough job, huh?" I asked, looking down at the screen of my phone.
"Yeah! So many girls want to kiss me and have..."
"Too much info!" I cut him off, before he could proceed to all the details.
I could feel a light blush on my cheeks, but it went away as soon as my best friend called.
"Hey, Alya! Are you here yet? Building 8? I'm right next to you, building 7. Sure I can! Which room? Got it!" I ended the call.
"Hey, I'm going to building 8 to see a friend." I let him know.
I didn't wait for him to answer. I casually walked out of the building, heading for room 3b. Alya was waiting for me in the door, along with another guy, that I didn't recognise. Must be her roommate.
"Hey girl! Finally!" She said as she gave me a tight hug.
I hugged her back, between trying to breathe and telling her that she was suffocating me.
"Oh, sorry! I just missed you, that's all." She let go, and scratched the back of her head, with a friendly smile.
"I missed you too." I said, walking inside and closing the door behind me.
Alya seemed to already have settled down. Her clothes were already in her closet, and she had already decorated her side of the dorm.
"So Marinette, this is Nino, my roommate." She said pointing to the guy with headphones behind her.
He smiled friendly and gave a small wave.
"Nice to meet, you." I smiled back.
"So girl, what's up? Did you meet your roommate yet?" Alya asked.
I wasn't too pumped about telling her that my roommate was Adrien Agreste, cause if I did, she was going to start with all her matchmaking ideas.
"Yeah, nothing special about him." I straight up lied, but it wasn't enough to stop her. It must be her nature.
"Your roommate's a guy?! Aw, Marinette you're growing up!" She teased.
"W-What's that supposed to mean?" I stuttered, feeling a deep pink blush coming up to my cheeks.
"Nothing." She mischievously said. "Hey, do you want to go to a party tonight?"
Classic Alya Cesair! Hasn't been here for 10 minutes, already thinks about partying.
"What's with you and parties?" I sighed.
"Uh, they're awesome?" She said like it was obvious. "Besides, everyone's going!"
"That's true. Madison hosts it at her house, so it only makes sense." Nino said, not looking up from his phone screen.
"Who's Madison?" I asked.
"Are you kidding me? You don't know who Madison Delcour is?" Alya said, giving me a shocked expression.
"No, now could you please tell me?"
"She's only the richest girl of Paris after Chloe! Her mom owns that super big shoe company in London, so yeah. Her house is huge, so naturally everyone's going." She explained.
"I can tell you, guys aren't going for the house. They want a chance with her, if you know what I mean. But I bet the only reason she hosted that party to begin with, was so she could get a chance with Adrien Agreste." Nino said.
Alya's eyes widened. Here we go!
"Adrien Agreste? As in the gorgeous model, actor and famous dude all over the fashion world? He's here?" She asked, clinging onto Nino, hungrily waiting for an answer.
"That's what I heard. Why? Are you a fan of his?"
"No, but it would make for awsome scoop if I could get an interview." She said with shining eyes.
"Keep your interviews for someone better. He's not worth your time! Turns out he's actually a jerk!" I sighed.
"And how would you know?" Alya asked, suspiciously raising an eyebrow.
"I met him earlier!" I explained, not saying the part about him being my roommate. I should have known better than to think that my best friend wouldn't figure me out.
"Right!" She said winking at me. "Well talk later about that. Now, about that party..."
