Ssurel: Daughter of None

Part 4

Nightfall came. Ssurel grabbed a knife from the kitchen, she quickly flew over to Gine's house as quick as she could. She walked inside and looked around, she then came to a nursery. She walked inside and saw Gine laying on a bed. Ssurel walked over to Gine, she raised the knife to stab and kill Gine. Suddenly a happy squeal filled the room, Ssurel looked over her shoulder. Raditz was in a crib looking over at her with a big smile on his face. He was happy to see his mommy again. "Baby..." Ssurel smiled and walked over to the crib. Raditz looked up at her and made adorable noises, "Hey baby boy, I've missed you." She smiled, "Don't worry, once I finish it's just going to be you and me from now on, ok?" She turned back to Gine, she walked over to the bed. She raised the knife and brought it down, suddenly her arm was grabbed. She looked over, "B-Bardock!"

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"Why does it matter to you?!" She said getting angry, "You took him from me and now I'm taking him back!"

"No you're not!" He then shoved her, she fell flat on her butt. "Gine! Wake up!" Gine jolted awake.

"Meh! I'm up!" She said rubbing her eyes,

"Take the baby and get out!"

"O-ok!" She got up, grabbed Raditz and then ran.

"No!" Ssurel got up and went to chase after her. Bardock grabbed her, "Let go of me you bastard!" She spun and slashed him across his left cheek. Bardock yelled in pain, Ssurel gripped the knife tighter, she turned and faced Bardock. "If I have to kill you too then I will!" She ran up to him and went to stab him, Bardock quickly disarmed her and grabbed the knife. "Give it back!" She threw a punch, Bardock grabbed her arm and slashed under her arm and on her shoulder. Ssurel screamed in pain.

"I'm not letting you get near my son."

"He's more my son than he is yours!" She attacked again, Bardock slashed her other shoulder and then slashed downward across the chest. She clenched her chest, she was losing blood fast. Bardock then stabbed her in the gut. Ssurel hunched over and grabbed Bardock's wrist. She grunted and then slowly pulled out the knife while Bardock had a firm grip on it. She then grabbed the knife from Bardock, she swung it down going to kill Bardock, Bardock grabbed Ssurel's wrists. She pushed the knife closer and closer to him, Bardock kneed Ssurel in the gut and then shoved the knife into Ssurel's right eye. Ssurel screamed in pain and fell to her knees.

"Stay away from Gine and stay away from my son!"

"He's not just your son Bardock!" She cried, she grabbed the knife and slowly pulled it out along with her eye. She shut her right eye lid after her eye came out. "I gave birth to him! I love him more than anything in this world! He's my son!"

"Not anymore he's not, now get the hell out of my sights before I kill you."

"Fine..." She weakly stood up, "My biggest regret in life is loving you!" She turned and then ran. She ran until she was home. She burst through the front door and slammed it behind her. She felt her body throb, her vision became blurry, she needed to patch her wounds if she was going to live. She quickly went to the bathroom, she removed her shirt. She got a healing pen from behind the mirror, she squeezed her wound on her chest closed while she waved the pen over it. The wound healed but the scar was still there. She then did the same with her stomach, shoulders, and arm. She put the pen away, she grasped the edge of the sink tightly. She looked up into the mirror, she looked at her scarred face. Tears swelled in her only eye left, she clenched her fists. She then punched the mirror, a piece flew off and slashed her face. "Fuck!" She cursed as the piece of mirror slashed her, she looked at herself in the broken pieces of the mirror. She growled, she opened the mirror and grabbed a pair of scissors. She clenched them tightly, she shut the mirror. She started to cry and she started to cut her hair. One by one large pieces of her fell to the ground she cut it until it was short, she then ran her head through the sink water and scrubbed her hair making sure to get any lose strands of hair. "Ugh!" She screamed, she looked up in the mirror to admire her new look. She still hated the way she looked even with the short hair.

"Damn you Bardock...." she said shakily, "Damn you..." She then started to cry, "Damn you!" She repeated over and over again.
