A few weeks passed. Ssurel was at home preparing a gift for Bardock. She decided to put it in a box and wrap it. Suddenly Bardock walked through the front door. "I'm home."

"Bardock!" She ran over to him and embraced him in a hug. She smiled then kissed him, "I've got something for you."

"Is it food?"

"No," she laughed, "Come with me!" She took him by the hand and lead him into the bedroom. His gift was sitting on the bed.

"What's this?" He asked, his eyes widened, "Oh shit did I forget your birthday again?! No! It's our anniversary!" Ssurel laughed and shook her head.

"No, I just wanted to get you this." She smiled and handed it to him, "You're always complaining about how you don't have proper protection in battle so I called up some of my rich friends and we put together this.

"Hm." Bardock raised an eyebrow, he sat on the bed and started to unwrap it. He opened the lid of the box, "Armor?" Inside was blue and green armor as well as boots, red arm and leg bands, and a dark blue undersuit.

"This is the most advanced armor that they could put together. Completely shock absorbent, and the boots are shock and sound resisting too so no one can hear you coming. Guess what we call the boots?"

"Uh...what?"

"Sneakers." She giggled.

"Well this is amazing Surie, thank you." He smiled.

"And I have one more surprise for you." She set the box aside and sat on his lap facing him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Oh really. What is that?" He asked putting his hands on her waist. She smiled.

"Bardock...I'm pregnant."

"What....since when?" He asked,

"I Uh...I just found out before you got home." She smiled.

"I'm gonna be a dad?" He asked with a smile, Ssurel nodded, "Wow, this is incredible. I love you."

"I love you too." She smiled and then kissed him. He kissed back.

About six months passed. Bardock tried to be at home more. "Bardock, is there anything to eat?" Ssurel asked looking through the kitchen.

"I don't know," he said.

"I'm craving just about anything." She said, "Do we have any meat from that horned creature?"

"I don't think so."

"Oh why not..." she whined. She sighed and then walked into the living room and then sat on the couch where Bardock was sitting and reading a book. "Oof!" Bardock raises and eyebrow and then looked over at her.

"Did you just say Oof?"

"Yeah," she said placing her hand on her round belly, "Your son just kicked me."

"What do you mean?"

"Like he took his cute little foot and jammed it into my side." She said wincing a little.

"Hmmm." Bardock placed his hand on her stomach. The baby kicked again. "Oh yeah, he did kick."

"Yep," she smiled, she looked at him, "Hey....can you go get some meat from that horned creature?"

"Why?"

"Because I'm hungry and I'm craving it! Now get your ass out there and get me some food or so help me I will eat you instead!!!!!" Bardock flinched.

"Yeesh, calm down I'm going."

Three more months passed. Ssurel was going into labor, they couldn't get doctors up to their home so it was just her and Bardock. Ssurel laid on the bed groaning in pain. Bardock held onto her hand. "You're gonna be fine Surie, just breathe." Ssurel nodded and kept breathing.

"Mm, Bardock it hurts!" She said squeezing his hand. She groaned in pain, she started to push out. She squeezed his hand harder and started to scream in pain as she pushed more and more.

"You'll be fine,"

"No! I feel like I'm going to be ripped in half!"

"Surie look at me." She looked at him, sweat beading down her forehead. Bardock could tell by the look on her face she was scared for her life. After hours of pushing and pain the room was filled with the cry of a baby. Bardock walked to the edge of the bed, he grabbed a soft bath towel and picked up the baby and wrapped the baby in it. It was a strong baby boy with a tail and really long spiked hair and a widows peak. Bardock smiled at the baby and then walked over to Ssurel, "Surie, look at him." He said kneeling down, Saurel was now laying on her side. Exhausted she slowly opened her eyes and looked at the baby.

"He's so beautiful...." she said weakly.

"What should we name him?" Bardock asked.

"Raditz..." she said with a weak smile. Bardock smiled back.

"Yeah, I like that." He handed baby Raditz to Ssurel. She held the baby close to her breast and kissed his forehead.

"I love him so much Bardock."

"Yeah me too." He smiled. Bardock looked at the baby and gently ran his thumb across the baby's forehead.

Later that night Gine came over. Bardock and Gine sat in the living room on the couch. "So its a boy?" Gine asked. Bardock nodded, "That's cute, what's his name?"

"Raditz."

"That's a strong name. I bet he'll grow up and be really strong."

"Yeah."

"Bardock...."

"Yes Gine?"

"I have to tell you something...."

"What is it?"

Gine sighed, and without thinking she quickly leaned over and passionately kissed Bardock. Bardock kisses back, He then opened his eyes when he realized what was going on. He pulled away. "Why'd you stop...?" Gine asked.

"Why'd you do that?"

"Well.....I couldn't stop thinking about that night a few years back when you and I mated...it made me realize something Bardock."

"And what's that?"

"I love you, and I always have and I always will."

"I love you too."
