Jaebum stumbled, choking on his saliva. "W-what?!" He stuttered. He immediately got defensive, "I'm not gay!" He nearly shouted, probably too loud for a public place.
(M/n) just smirked slightly, finding Jaebum's panic entertaining. It took Jaebum a minute to calm down before he was finally able to speak again without embarrassing himself. "Why would you even want to know?"
(M/n) shrugged, "Curiosity I guess." With that (M/n) entered his classroom leaving Jaebum alone in the hallway. Jaebum was confused, he wondered why (M/n) wanted to know. Was (M/n) gay?
Jaebum decided that he should stop letting his mind go wild and actually focus on the class. His father would kill him if he started failing. It didn't help that it was maths class, also known as one of the most boring and confusing classes. Jaebum couldn't stop his mind from wandering.
The bell rang, shocking his mind out of its daze. He packed up his stuff and scanned over his schedule, wondering where his next class was. He was happy that it wasn't too far away. Jaebum sat in an empty desk near the back as he waited for the class to fill up. Surprisingly he had the class with Jackson. It was a pleasant surprise.
"Hey Jackson, I have a question." Jaebum stated while looking from the board to his friend.
"Shoot."
"Is (M/n) gay?"
Jaebum figured that if anyone knew it would be one of his friends.
"He's bisexual." Jackson answered.
Jaebum nodded, feeling a sense of satisfaction for figuring out what had been bugging him.
"Why do you ask? Interested~?" Jackson teased, nudging Jaebum.
Jaebum's face flushed as he frantically denied. "No! No, it's nothing like that. It's just that he asked me if I've ever had a boyfriend before and I wondered if he was gay." He explained.
"Oh..." Jackson smiled softly. "It's because everyone in the group is gay. He didn't want you to be freaked out."
It took a minute for Jaebum to process what had been said. "So...everyone's gay?" He said slowly.
Jackson nodded. "And everyone's already dating each other. For example, I'm with Mark hyung."
"Wait you're dating Mark?! Who else is dating who then?" Jaebum asked incredulously.
"Yugyeom is dating Bambam, Jinyoung is dating Youngjae, and (M/n) is single and ready to mingle." Jackson sent a wink towards Jaebum after the last statement. The older male's face flushed a bright red color as he stuttered out a vague 'I'm not gay.' Jackson just laughed off his response.
"But you're still gonna hang out with us right Jaebum?" Jackson asked hopefully.
"Jaebum hyung." He corrected.
"Hey! You don't even know if you're older than me! What if I want you to call me Jackson hyung?!" Jackson retorted.
"Then when were you born?" Jaebum questioned.
"March 8th, 1994!"
"Hah! I was born January 6th, 1994! So I'm your hyung."
"Three months isn't enough time!" Jackson complained.
"It is for me!" Jaebum said happily.
They both turned towards the door as a familiar figure walked through the door. It was (M/n). He was talking to the teacher and she smiled before telling him something. He nodded and proceeded to sit in the back with Jackson and Jaebum.
"(M/n) hyung, what are you doing here?" Jackson inquired.
"I used to have a free period, now I'm a teacher's aid for this class." He explained.
Jackson cheered, excited to have another friend in class. And now it would be easier to start operation "Get Jaebum and (M/n) together."
Jackson was a scheming boy. He had many ideas of what he could do, but most of all, he couldn't wait to tell the rest of the group. They were going to have a field day. Mostly, they just wanted (M/n) to have someone he was close to in a different way. They always thought that he felt left out because he was the only one not in a relationship.
"Jackson, what are you thinking about with that derpy look on your face?" (M/n) questioned, looking at the younger male suspiciously.
"Nothing!" He exclaimed.
"Jackson..." (M/n) said again, this time with the disapproving tone of a mother.
The blonde male suddenly shot his hand into the air before asking the teacher if he could use the restroom. She told him to go leaving Jaebum and (M/n) alone.
"Wonder what's up with him..." (M/n) muttered.
(M/n) looked over at Jaebum, sliding into Jackson's desk. "Hey Jaebum~" (M/n) cooed.
"Go away." Jaebum huffed, trying to focus on his English worksheet. English was his worst subject.
"Having trouble with English?" (M/n) questioned in fluent English. Jaebum gritted his teeth. "Shut up."
"You're so mean to your hyung~" (M/n) complained, now leaning more on Jaebum's desk than Jackson's.
Jaebum kept his head down, trying to hide the blush on his face from (M/n) being so close. "We're going out tonight, do you want to come? To celebrate you becoming part of the group?" (M/n) asked.
"Where?"
"It's a surprise~"
"No."
(M/n) pouted, "Come on, don't be such a stick in the mud."
"No."
"How about you give me your number and I can send you the address and you can come if you want to?"
"Hell no."
"Gah, you're so boring." And with that (M/n) slid back into his own seat.
Jaebum had an internal debate before flicking a paper at (M/n)'s head. (M/n) grabbed it and unfolded it to see Jaebum's number. He grinned triumphantly. It was at that moment Jackson walked back into class and sat in his seat.
"So what'd I miss?" He asked, looking between Jaebum's annoyed face and (M/n)'s gleeful expression.
"Nothing much, just that Jaebum is coming with us to celebrate him becoming part of our group." (M/n) explained. Jaebum was going to say that he wasn't sure if he was going or not but after seeing the hopeful look in Jackson's eyes he felt like he couldn't say no.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

I know I said I'd update a lot over spring break, but I've gotta admit, I've been hit with a case of writers block. Most times I can just force my way through it and pump out a chapter and by then I've got some new ideas but lately I've been drawing a blank with everything. This one chapter took me the span of almost three weeks to write and I still don't feel like it's very good.
But that's okay, writers block will pass and I'll be back at it again in no time.
Thank you for reading!!!
