°°°° Amora Pierce°°°°
I look in the foggy gym mirror, meeting my own tired eyes. I had serious dark circles. Seriously, I looked like I had two black eyes. I didn't feel tired in the slightest, though I looked like I hadn't slept in weeks.
I hadn't.
I sighed and scrubbed my hair with my towel to get to extra water from my shower out, leaving it damp. It fell to the tips of my ears. I left the locker room, but not before looking at my muscles in the mirror. I'd filled out nicely, especially since I started working out more after---- STOP.
I stopped the thought in it's tracks, looking around at those on machines. Some guy had his treadmill up on a ten point incline, running at a sprint. I shook my head, knowing he'd learn his lesson soon enough. I glanced down at my tank top and jeans, smiling at how each hugged my body. Today was gonna be a good first day of school.
Maybe.

I sat in first period, relaxed in the back. I had stretched out so my boots were on my desk, with my arms behind my head. I was reveling in my post-workout adrenaline.
Until some guy walked in. I glanced up, playing with my keychain that was around my neck, and this dude was just standing in front of me.
I tensed, slightly thrown that I hadn't noticed him. I looked him up and down, taking in his baggy ripped jeans and his plain white top. His eyes were a dark brown, and his hair fell longer than mine, to his jaw. It was wavy.
"You done?" His cocky voice snapped me out of my thoughts. He was smirking.
"I suppose." I bite the inside of my cheek. I should at least try to be good on my first day of school.
He sat down in the desk beside me, and moved it closer.
Shit.
"Sorry, my friend is sitting there." I speak up, a hint of hostility in my tone. I didn't like how close he was.
"And who would that be?" His eyes seemed to dance in amusement. I scowled.
"Someone who wastes less oxygen than you." I looked around, waiting on Alex.
Come on, Alex. Get here, or I'll beat you six ways to Sunday.
"Hmm. I don't see anyone." He smirked again. "I'm Austin." He held out his hand, as if to shake my hand.
I didn't accept it.
"Amora. Now, please leave." My eyes lit up as Alex walked into the room. "Alex!" I called, my voice enthusiastic.
Alex ran to me, and we hugged. I grinned. The boy who had been sitting beside me--- Aaron?---tensed.
"Oh my Lord Fawny!" Alex gushed. "You're more muscly than the football team!" He laughed a bit, and I grinned.
"It's great. I've started a new--" just as I was reuniting with my best friend, the bell rang, and the teacher motioned for us to sit down. I sighed and dragged Alex to the back with me. He was on my right, and--- Andy?-- was on my left. Ms. Kari taught for the entire class.
When the bell rang, many students stood and scurried out of the room. Sadly, The new guy didn't. He had glared at Alex all period, and I scowled at him.
"What's your problem, man?" My voice was harsh.
He ignored me, and turned on his heel, leaving.
Alex watched. "He was hot. What'd you do?"
Wonder fucking ful.
