Keiths POV
I choked, sputtering and coughing. I couldn't believe my ears. Free accommodation and food, a break from Haggars whining, keeping my siblings with me and staying with Lance all day in exchange for protecting someone?! It was too good to be true. This had to be a dream.
"I can see it on your face, Prince Kiethan, and I can assure you it's very very real." King Alfor laughed.
Princess Allura burst into the room, panting.
"Ah, Allura, my beautiful daughter. You received my summons, correct?"
"FATHER IM VERY VERY SORRY I COULDNT PROTECT LANCE BUT PLEASE DONT SEND SHIRO AND HIS SIBLINGS AWA-"She stopped when she saw me, and she looked confused. "Keith? Is that you? What's with the dumb mask?"
"Allura! I raised you better than to question a culture! That's traditional druid dress! He didn't wear the mask last night as per his father's request. And no, they're not being sent away. In fact, they're being kept. Keithan will protect you, and his siblings will stay with him for support. No need to fret, dear daughter, your crush stays for another day yet." I giggled, Allura, having a crush on Shiro? Please, he was the biggest dork ever. It was hard to believe. A grin settled on my face, lighting up the room around me.
Lances POV
I woke up to the swoosh of a door and a beep of a machine. I let out a yelp as a shock ran through me. I felt something warm clutch my hand, and I relaxed.
"I'll leave you alone. Call me if anything happens." A voice I recognised as Pidge said, worry in her voice. I heard a tired grunt from beside me as the door close with a whoosh. I sighed, and opened my eyes.
"Keith? Where am I? What happened? Where's A-" The pretty violet eyed male looked at me for a second, then silenced me with a kiss. It wasnt like books depicted it, there weren't any fireworks or magic. Oh, never mind, there were a few sparks. I say there surprised for a second, then leaned into the kiss. It was like a kiss from an angel. No, it was a kiss from an angel. And that angel was mine. All mine.
