Erika and Bree were on the roof of an old abandon building. They were looking out over the city. It was like a scene from an old superman movie. Jonathan had come back an was good for some reason.

"Why is it that everyone that's supposed to be dead is coming back," Erika said.

"It might've been a catch that Raziel didn't think of," Bree said.

"I thought the angel knew everything," Erika said.

"No demons know everything, angels only know what they need to know," Bree said. They both suddenly whipped around as they heard a commotion. Behind them were 5 shax demons. Neither of them had a weapon.

"Your precious Kiara isn't here now is she?" the demon in the front hissed. Just then he charged. Knocking Erika and Bree off of the roof. Everything was flying past. Erika saw her life flash before her eyes. Then she hit. First it hurt then there was nothing. It was like floating. Every thing came into view. It was perfect. A tall man stood in front of her. Next to him was an 8 year old boy. Max.

"Erika Herondale, Bree, it's your time to join me," The man said.

"What about my kids, my family, Kiara! I can't just leave them," Erika said. She collapsed to her knees. She put her head in her hands. She felt a small hand on her back.

"It's okay Erika, they'll be fine," max said.

"Are you sure," Erika asked.

"Positive," he said with a smile. Erika stood. She looked at Bree then the man.

"Okay," she said.

"Welcome Erika."
