****Erika's POV****

Ok maybe splitting up wasn't the best idea, it always ends up bad but, Kiara only has good intentions, mainly to protect me and the baby. I still have to tell Jackson. I hope he wants it if he doesn't I don't know what I would do. I went to Kiara first cause she's a girl and I felt more comfortable telling her. I'm still trying to find a way to tell my parents. Me and Jackson aren't even married yet!!! I wonder what Kiara's doing? Maybe I'll just have a small peeksies? Just as I thought that Kiara came flying and screaming out of a second story window. She landed on her feet, like always, but she was bleeding, and badly too, she had a scratch on her leg and her face was cut up. Probably from the window.

"Kiara! what happened in there!?!" I asked. Just then a demon, a greater demon at that, jumped out of the window.

"ABBADON!! THATS WHAT HAPPENED!! RUN!!!" Kiara yelled shoving me down the path.

"DEAD END!" I yelled.

"Don't run Shadowhunters, I won't hurt you much," The demon said.

"Erika, I'm going to distract him. When I do, run. ok? Don't look back just keep running. For once think about yourself, keep running," Kiara whispered into my ear. I nodded in reply. Think about yourself. Think about the baby. I thought to myself. Then I realized that Kiara was already 5 feet away from me the sun was glinting off the dagger that she held in her hand, she was crazy, but I loved her for it.

"HEY UGLY!! OVER HERE!!" Kiara yelled at the demon.

"Excuse me? that is no way to talk to your assassin," the demon hissed. It veared towards Kiara. Then I took off. I didn't stop till I was 5 miles away.

"Wow you run fast for a pregnant woman," I whipped around to see Kiara walking up the sidewalk.

"Adrenaline does a lot for a person," I replied.

"Alright let's get home. I think I have glass in my ankle," Kiara said. Then she grabbed my wrist and started to pull me home.
