They walked for another 4 hours and finally they arrived at the northern mountains.
The wind blew really hard there, they were freezing. The northern area was well known for its cold.
"Hmm I remember something," said Luna suddenly.
"What is it? Did we go the wrong way? Did you remember something about the darkness?" asked Ruen eagerly.
"No, it's not that. Back then, when I was on my way to the forest, I met a man. He said that he miss you so much."
"Who is he?"
"Jayden, I suppose. He said that you used to call him Uncle Jay, or so," said Luna, trying to remember his name.
"So he is alive... I thought he died already," replied Ruen coldly.
"You know him?" asked Luna.
"Yes, he was my neighbor once," replied Ruen colder than before.
They continued their journey in silence and cold. They pushed themselves to walk in the midst of freezing condition.
A few moments after the sun down, Ruen saw a small house at the hillside of the mountain. He decided to rest there and Luna agreed.
And so, they knocked the door. The owner opened it directly. The owner was a man, a young one. He was as tall as Ruen and he had a short silver hair.
"Hello," said the man. "I bet you're going to ask me to let you stay here for the night."
"Are you a mind reader? " asked Luna.
"No, but almost every traveller asked me to do so," said the man with a big smile. "Well, I have a guest room, are you married?"
"No we're not," said Luna in panicked.
"I'm joking, My Lady," he giggled. "This guy can stay in my room," he pointed on Ruen, "and the beautiful lady can stay in guest room."
"Thank you.. umm?" Luna forgot to asked his name.
"Keith."
"Thank you, Keith."
"Well, let's just go in now. The northern wind blew so hard today, it means we'll have storm tonight," said Keith warmly.
They entered the small house and the condition outside of the house was getting worse.
