A voice of stepping shoes broke the silence. It was the noise that the girl made. She walked on the quiet road alone.

The road looked gloomy, as the sky turned black.

"It'll rain soon," said the girl to no one. She felt a little lonely and scared.

Eventhough she felt that, she kept walking forward and followed the road that led her to the forest.

In the middle of her way, she saw a young woman walking from the opposite direction.

She must've been gone to the forest and came back, or so she thought.

"Yo li'l girl, goin' to the forest?" said the young woman when they met their eyes.

"Yes, miss. You just came out from to the forest?"

"Aye, am a hunter ya see," she said while showing off her bow and arrow. "But I found no deers to hunt. Not even boar nor bird. It's strange."

Then, she looked at the girl.

"Are ya a hunter too? Without guns and arrows and swords?"

"I'm not a hunter, miss. I'm on my way to find the dark magician," she answered politely.

Hearing the girl's answer, the young woman laughed.

"Interesting, what's yer name?" asked the young woman curiously.

"Luna," replied the girl shortly.

"Am Sylvi," the hunter smiled. "What do ya want from him? A fame? Treasure? Potion?" she asked and asked.

"I just want to give him this," said the girl, taking out a letter from her bag.

"A letter?"

"It's from his mom before she passed away"

"Wait, Aunty Mildred already died?"

"Yes, a week ago. You know her?"

The young woman didn't answer. Her expression showed that she was shock.

"I... I better take ya to his place, follow me," said Sylvi, still with a shocked expression.

"You know the dark magician?" Luna asked.

"Perhaps," replied the hunter with no smile.

"But, you know where he lives?"

"Yea," replied Sylvi.

And they walked to the forest, with silence. Sylvi seemed like having so much to think, so Luna didn't want to disturb her.

The forest was darker than Luna thought before. It hardly filled with light because of tall trees with big size and fulled of leaves that blocked the light. Plus, it was cloudy outside.

After walking down the forest for about an hour without any obstacle, they arrived in front of a big wooden lodge.

It was a well made lodge. The wood was arranged neatly. It was the house of the dark magician.
