That ruined fortress was so huge. The fortress was built with stones and it was really hard to break. The fortress consisted of two big towers that connected to each other. It had few windows but had so many stairs inside.
"Ruen, can you cast a light here? It's hard to see with this small amount of light," asked Keith while trying to look around the inside.
Without any reply, Ruen silently casted a light to lighten the fortress.
"Well, if we see it from the outside we will think that this is a ruined fortress, but after we came in, I conclude that this isn't a ruined fortress, it is a fortress," said Luna.
"I guess you're right. The appearance of this fortress is ruined, but not the inside," said Ruen while walking forward and looking around.
"It's so mysterious, look!" Keith pointing his finger at a painting, hanging on the wall.
"It's strange to see a painting here, and this painting isn't dusty at all," said Luna.
"Anyway, what painting is this?" asked Keith.
It was an absurd painting. The painting was shapeless, and it filled with ambiguous colors as a background. It was a mixed colors of red, white, grey, green, purple, blue, and yellow. In the middle of the painting, there was a black creature with a random shape.
"Is it the darkness?" asked Keith.
"I guess not, it's like a shadow that creates an explosion," replied Ruen.
"It's just like a black star that explodes, don't you think?" asked Luna.
"Well, it looks like one," said Keith after observing the painting once again.
"Hey, why don't we check what's behind this painting?" said Keith suddenly.
"Maybe there was a hidden door or something?" Luna added.
Therefore, with Ruen's magic, they removed the painting from the wall to see what was behind the painting.
But they saw nothing unusual.
So, they put the painting back to its place and continued their observation towards the strange fortress.
