Ruen didn't expect what the girl brought. A darkness trapped inside the bottle. The darkness that hunted him for his entire life was captured inside of a small bottle, although it was just a small part of it.
"It must be the cause of my mom's death," said him after a short time.
"I guess so," the girl added.
They agreed that the darkness had killed Ruen's mom.
"Right, here's a letter for you, I found it, lying on the floor beside her," said the girl again.
He opened the letter and began to read.
"What did she write?" asked Luna.
"Well, I'll read it loudly," replied Ruen.
"My dearest son, I hope you're doing well in your hideout. If you're reading this letter that means I'm no longer standing in this earth. Therefore I will tell you this: be prepared for the future. It's a mystery yet you have to discover it for your own good. And I believed that you will create a good future as well as Luna, the one who send you this letter. Please be kind to her.
For your personal information, I've already calculated every possibilities and come to a conclusion where the darkness would take my life and Luna would bring this letter to you. So I prepared myself when the darkness came. I hope my prediction was right that I could catch some part of the darkness and the darkness will lead you to your future.
But, don't let the darkness rules you. Let it be the reason for light to approach you.

"The letter ends here," said Ruen after reading it loudly.
"That's great. Your mom really is a smart woman."
"She is smart, for herself," said Ruen with a bitter face. "This letter is full of secrets, she really loves giving hints and clues."
"I guess so, but I kinda know what she means, about the darkness will lead us to the future," said Luna with a confidence.
"What?"
"Don't you think this darkness inside the bottle keep moving towards the same directions? It means they want to go back to their colony."
"Now that you mention it... It's true."
"Luckily, my magic covered my existence so the darkness can't find his lost buddy that trapped inside this bottle."
"That's great, it means we can find the person or people who control the darkness," said Ruen eagerly.
"And what do we do next?"
"Take our revenge, of course. And you'll be our protector. Let's go tomorrow before the sun rises."
"Wait, I haven't agreed yet," Luna said quickly. "It's too risky."
"Yet, you have to move forward."
Luna couldn't talk back and she finally agreed to go with Ruen as his protector.
A new journey was about to begin.
