A Road to Nowhere
By: The Amazing ME!

Sorrow and death are the only words made

Fit for the tidings that o'er this way come.

Blasting of bombs, in the distance they fade.

People all fearing the sound of the drum.

Calling of drums means the war has begun.

War is the same as a plague of death,

Spreading like blows that are coming from guns,

Making a Nation of people draw their last breath.

People all bear foot and clothed in rags,

Homeless and wandering o'er dead bodies lay

Longer and longer this war does it drag

That is the price for which we must pay.

Yellow and light of the sun is now red,

Red all the world from the blood that we shed.

Laughing of children is now no more

Because of sacrifices made from war.
