"Ha! You need more spirit than that to defeat me Ned." She helped up her brother who had fallen flat on his buttocks.
"I was only allowing you to..." Ned grumbled. "You're a girl..."
"What was that?" Lyanna feigned a stern tone but it was clear from her gray eyes that she was mirthful. "Even women can defeat the strongest men, maybe not in strength but in here." She tapped her temple with her index finger. As Ned begrudgingly nodded, her eyes landed on him and it was all Robert could do to stop himself from showing too much enthusiasm when she mentioned his name.
"Would you care for a spar with me my Lord?"
"Of cou--"
"My lords," Maester Walys strode in. "My lady," he gave Lyanna a nod. "I beg your pardon for the intrusion but Lord Stark would require the presence of Lord Robert and Lord Ned."
"Did father mention why?" She asked although it seemed to him that she already knew why. Her luscious brown hair was faintly ruffled by a warm afternoon breeze, the way she hefted the wooden practice sword delicately, her gray eyes that held none of winter's harshness but all of its beauty and her lips...
"Robert, if you keep gawking at her you're gonna end up on your knees." Ned nudged him and gave him a wry smile.
He felt his face flush. "I wasn't...I wouldn't!" Both Lyanna and the Maester's eyes landed on him, it seemed that his outburst had pulled them out from whatever discussion they were having.
"I beg your pardon my lord but it is of the utmost importance that you attend to Lord Stark."
Robert cleared his throat. "Of course, I was merely having... a banter and wager with Ned here." He nudged him.
"Right." Ned gave a solemn nod. He was always good at making things feel somber, for the life of him, Robert could never bring himself to be like that despite being friends with him.
Lyanna gave him a smile which didn't help his flustered emotions at the moment. "See you soon."
"A-aye."
As Ned and Maester Walys trudged on, he stayed. Whatever Lord Stark summoned him for, he had a feeling that he would need to tell Lyanna what he felt for her right now. It was now or never. He mustered a deep breath.
"My lady..."
"My lord, it would be unwise to make my father wait." She gave him a small smile.
"I know but..." he clenched his fists. "You must know of the emotions that you bring about when you're with me."
Her eyes widened but Robert continued forging on. "Ever since we met, not a day has gone by that I've not thought of you. I do not ask you for a response right now but I promise, on my honor as a Baratheon, that I will love no one else. I will make myself worthy of you Lyanna Stark." He knelt on one knee in front of her. "This I swear, by the old gods and the new."
Before he could hear her response, he hurriedly got up and walked away. His heart hammering on his chest as if he were to fight his first battle.
"If you are to be that romantic and forward, would it not be wise to mention this to my lord father as well?"
Robert wind was almost knocked out of him but he couldn't help grinning. "I believe I will."

Hello! Tee here! I was planning to make Jef continue this if he could but it seems we're both busy with our situations. Worry not, I'll continue updating this story especially with the long hiatus in the series (both on TV and the books T^T). See you on the next chapter! And thank you for your patience :D
