My best friend

There was a time, we didn’t need to speak

Through eyes we communicated, seeing a freak

Our facial expressions told it all

We helped one another, not to fall

You wiped my tears, I wiped yours

We had the key to each other’s heart door

You tried to comfort me, I hated to see you sad

Each other's company, made us glad

Now it may not exactly be the same

As it is all life and fate’s game

But there’s one thing you need to know

I’ll never leave you, it’s a straight “NO”

I don’t know how to read your mind

But in my best memories, you I find

Whether we talk much now or not

You’re an amazing friend, I’ve got
