Chapter 9: More Than Friends?

Angel's POV:

I was finally let out of the hospital today, and my mom made me go to school.

I met up with Chloe and April because Noah and Finn had to shoot a scene.

Again.

After we just kissed too.. I really wanted to see him.

I haven't seen Noah since we kissed. We haven't even texted either. It was almost the end of the day and I was in Algebra class and sat in the back so I decided to text Noah.

Me: don't know if you're busy rn, but I'm in algebra and I'm boreddd 😭

He responded almost immediately

Noah😍💘: lolll we just finished the scene 🙃
Me: was it funnn?
Noah😍💘: tbh not really 😂
Noah😍💘: ft meeeeee
Me: but I'm in class💀
Noah😍💘: Ik 😁 but pwease
Me: agh fineee

I turn my sound all the way down until it's barely audible and hide my phone behind my books. Then I FaceTimed Noah. He answers and I put a finger up to my lips, motioning him to stay quiet.

"I should scream, shouldn't I?" He whispers. "Oh my God Noah, don't," I whisper/yell. He smiles at me and opens his mouth. "Noah! Don't. Do. It." I say still whispering.

He starts to scream and I immediately hang up, rushing to put my phone in my pocket.

"What was that?" April asks. "Noah's crazy self," I say while shaking my head.

"Oooh, you guys are cute," she smiles. I start to blush. "We aren't dating," I laugh.

"You mean you guys aren't dating, YET," she assures me. I roll my eyes playfully and continue to write my notes.

I start to think about what April said. Then I think about the kiss and feel myself blushing.

Atleast I hope we'll start dating.

Noah's POV:

I laugh while trying to text Angel again.

Angle❣️☺️: are you gonna scream again?😂
Me: ofc nottttt
Angle❣️☺️: mhmm😂 ill be there
Me: gr8 😊

I was going to do it.

I was going to ask Angel out.

I mean we kissed, so she has to like me right?

But what if she was trying to be nice... what if she wants to forget about it.

I shake my head to get the negative thoughts out of my mind.

Stop thinking like that Noah.

Before school ended, I wanted to buy Angel something. I didn't know if I should buy a her teddy bear or roses.

Roses seemed too cliché, so I bought her a teddy bear. I found this brown bear and it was funny to me.

I bought it and hurried home before Angel had gotten there.

***LATER***

Chloe went to the store with my mom and my dad had to work, so we'll be alone. (A/n: they're not gonna 'do it' you pervs s0, go sit in a corner and think about what you've done)

I heard a knock on my door. I race downstairs and open the door.

"Hey, Mr. Schnappchat," she says while smiling. I grin from ear to ear while letting her in.

"Why are you so cheesy today?" She asks me. "I have something for you, wait here," I tell her. She listens and I go back upstairs to get the teddy bear.

I come back hiding it behind my back. "I have to tell you something before I give this to you..." I start off.

"Tell me, tell me," she says excitedly and anxiously. I chuckle, "Ok.. well, I- I really like you Angel. And not as a friend. I like you as more than a friend," I say nervously.

She doesn't say anything, she just stares at me while smiling and blushing. At first I thought I said something wrong, but she kissed me. She wrapped her arms around my neck, and I place my hand on her hips, holding the teddy bear in the other.

I let go of the kiss, and couldn't speak. We both were blushing like idiots. I remove the teddy bear from behind my back and hand it to her.

"Aweee, thanks Noah," she brings me into a hug.

We stand there hugging, holding each other in our arms. The only thing you could hear was our soft breathing and my heart pounding.

"I like you as more than a friend too," she says quietly.

All I could do was smile.
