Chapter 2: Interrupted

Angel's POV:

Oh.. my.. God. Noah Schnapp actually missed me. But what does he mean 'more than I think'?

Before I could ask Noah what he meant by that, Chloe yells. "Hello?! Are you guys even listening to me?!"

"Yes my favorite sister in the whole wide world," Noah says while putting his arm around her.

"I'm your only sister you dumbo," Chloe says playfully. We all laugh as we go our separate ways to our classes. Noah catches up with me and starts walking me to class before he goes to his class.

"Don't you have an Algebra class to go to?" I ask while laughing.

"Yeah, and you have an English class I need to walk you to," he says.

As we're walking I ask him about the show Stranger Things, but he was stopped by a group of girls.

"Oh my gosh! Noah you're back!" One girl yelled. "How was it?" Another girl asked. "You're famous now Noah, so can I have your autograph?" The other girl laughed while holding a pencil and paper.

Noah chuckles. "Okay slow down guys, I'm kind of in the middle of something," he points to me. I blush and do a quick, small smile.

"You're hanging out with her?" A girl scoffs. I look down and ignore the comment. "What's wrong with Angel?" Noah asks curiously.

"Oh nothing, but tell me about Stranger Things," she pleaded. All the girls crowded around him and he finally gives in. He gives them autographs and brief stories about Stranger Things. I decided to go to class by myself because waiting for Noah was useless.

"Noah, I'll, uh, talk to you after school. I should be getting to class," I say nervously.

"No, no stay it's only going to take a minute," he begs. "Well, we have two minutes and my class is alllll the way down the hall," I say.

Noah sighs. "Okay, fine, but promise me that we'll talk after school," he smiles.

That damn smile.

"I promise," I say to him before turning around to go to class.

***AFTER SCHOOL***

I walk out of the school building to go meet Noah and Chloe at our sitting bench. I walk to the bench and only see Noah.

We're gonna be alone. Ok don't blow it, Angel.

I go to our bench and sit next to him. "Where's our third musketeer?"

Noah chuckles. "She went to go see Finnnnn," he says playfully. "Oh dear," I say while laughing.

Finn Wolfhard was also in the show Stranger Things with Noah. Finn is Chloe's crush... well, they like each other but they aren't dating YET. He has dark brown hair that looks almost black. He has a pair of dark brown eyes to match his hair. He looks like he could play a vampire in a movie because of his pale skin, but a nice looking one.

"They just need to date already goodness gracious," I say. Noah laughs. "Exactly, instead of meeting in secret,"

Me and Noah continue talking and get to know each other better while we wait for Chloe. She finally gets there 15 minutes later.

"Hey guys!" She says out of breath. "Sorry it took so long, I was with..." she doesn't finish her sentence.

Me and Noah laugh. "We know you were with Finn," Noah says. Chloe blushes and tucks her hair behind her ear. She always does that when she's embarrassed.

"Fine you guys caught me, but we were just.. working on homework," she blushes again. I saw right through her little lie.

"Oh my God, Chloe! You are the worst liar on earth. You guys kissed didn't you?" I ask suspiciously.

"Maybe.." she says while looking up into the beautiful, blue sky. Me and Noah gasp at the same time.

"I ship it. What should the ship name be Angel?" Noah asks. "Hmm, Chloe and Finn," I say thinking it over. "Foe sounds weird, but Clinn sounds even weirder," Noah says while chuckling. I giggle "You're right. So which one will it be Chloe?" I ask her.

"Neither we aren't dating.. yet," she says quietly. "YET?!" I yell. Chloe shushes me and laughs. "Keep your fricking voice down," she says. "Oh you don't want people to know that CHLOE LOVES FINN," Noah yells loudly. A few people turn around, but I'm pretty sure no one heard him for the most part.

"My God, Noah I'm going to kill you," Chloe says.

After we finish tormenting Chloe, we get on the bus and decide to go to my house. We arrive at my house and I unlock the door.

"Mom! I'm home. And Chloe and Noah are here," I yell. No answer. "Mom!" I yell again. Again no answer. I go into the kitchen to see a note on the counter.

'Went to the store, might be there a while we needs lots of food. Lol -love Mommy Dearest'

I laugh as I read the note. And put it back on the counter.

"Well guys my Mom is at the grocery store, so I guess we have the house to ourselves," I say while grabbing something to drink. "You guys want anything?" I ask them.

"What I want is to release my fluids, I'll be back" Chloe says while running to the bathroom. Me and Noah laugh. "I'll take a Pepsi," Noah says. "Coming right up," I grab a Pepsi and hand it to him.

"So.. Angel, I have to tell you something" Noah says. I walk closer to him. "This sounds serious, should I be worried?" I ask.

"No not at all, but it is important. Important to me atleast," He says seriously. "It's about.. us," he says.

My heart starts beating faster. We're only a few feet apart, then I look into his eyes. It gets silent until I can hear his breathing.

"I.. I think that I like—" Noah was cut off by Chloe bursting into the room.

"Wow, I feel refreshed. Now what did I miss?" she asks.

Me getting interrupted..

Again.
