Chapter 19

Belle's POV

"Stay here", he said and went out the door

I sat on his bed and wiped my phone off and turned it back on

"Hows it going", Toni texted

"We got soaked lol. he gave me a sweatshirt", I texted back

"I'm back", he said with his hand behind his back

"You change fast", I said and thought about could possibly be behind him

"I try", he said and revealed his hand

He was holding a bouquet of Sunflowers, my favorite

"How'd you know", I ask and took them from him

"You look like a Sunflower person", he said honestly 

"Well I try", I say admiring the flowers

He smiles and I quickly glance at the clock 8:20 pm, I've been here for three hours!?

I let out a quick yawn

"Well, I better get you home now", he laughed

I let out a little whine

"I didn't know I was such a good entertainer", he joked

"Well I had fun", I said honestly hopping off his bed

"Well I'm glad", he smiled escorting me out of his room and down the stairs to his car 

As I got in the car and he shut the door behind me, I texted Toni that I was coming home

"I hope you like Nerds", he said opening a big bag of the sour candy 

"Oh my Lord", I say as I felt my mouth start to water 

He chuckled and we drove to my house

I was casually minding my own business as I reached into the bag. As I was reaching in, so was Gabe. Our hands brushed and I admit, I lost my non existent cool and froze. He took that opportunity to entwine our fingers together. After feeling all the sparks, I soon relaxed and we took our hands out of the bag of candy and set it on the outside of my thigh. He started tracing little lines on my thigh while still holding my hand, it was so soothing. Tingles shot up my leg and I loved it.

He looked over and smiled and I smiled back

He started to unbuckle his seat belt

"You don't have to get out, you've done enough to your poor legs", I laugh and start to get out

"Next Friday", he laughed

"It's a date", I smile and kiss his cheek

"You know you have to let go of my hand in order to leave", he said 

I let out a small whimper

"You could always cut it off", I suggest

"I'll pass", he smiled

"Fine", I say and slowly let go of his hand

"All you gotta do is find me in the halls or during lunch and I will hold your hand", I said

"That's literally 72 hours away", I say

"And I'll be waiting", he smiled

"Here", I said and got a sharpie out of the door compartment

I wrote down my number on his hand

"You better call me", I said and got out of the car

"I will, don't worry", he said

As I started to leave, he grabbed my hand again and pulled me into him

"Yes", I ask

"Forgot something", he smiled

"Which is", I ask

He crashed his lips onto mine and pulls away after a couple minutes

"That", he smiles

"Thanks", I say and let go of his hand and get out of the vehicle

He waited until I got to the door and made it in safely. As I shut the door I felt my tingly lips

"What happened", Toni asked as her and my mom come rushing up
