Belle's POV
"Do you mind staying with mom alone for a little while", I ask hesitantly fidgeting with my phone
"Why", Toni asked raising a brow
"I'm kinda going to meet Gabe for coffee", I said
"On one condition", she said
"Yes", I ask
"You bring me back one large mocha ice coffee"
"I'm not making Gabe pay for you", I said changing my clothes
"Yeah, I know. You hate making other people pay, so here", she said and got some cash out from her pants
"Thanks", I said as I plucked the money out of her hand and put it in my back pocket
"Blah blah blah, you aren't really wearing that", she asked putting her hands on her hips
"What's wrong with this", I said looking in the mirror
"Well, it's too casual", she said crinkling her nose
"Whats wrong with ripped jeans and a cropped sweatshirt", I said
"You do you", she said
"You know I hate that, don't say that", I said pointing my finger at her
"Um, you're going to get coffee, not going to the store", she said
"Fine, what do you suggest", I said looking at the clock

Gabe's POV
So I was a little early, only by 20 minutes. So I took the time to look up the coffee at Dunkin' Donuts. I didn't want to look stupid. I like to be prepared.
It turned 10:25 and I got out of the car and jogged up the couple steps to her porch. I knocked three times and there was whispers behind the door once again. I decided to use my wolf hearing this time
"Shh, be quiet", a voice said
"Don't forget my damn coffee", another voice whispered
"If I remember, I'll get it. Chill", the first voice said again
"I'll text you", the second voice said
The door open and I quickly backed away from the door and started looking at the flowers.
"Ready", Belle asked as she opened the door
"Totally", I smiled and held my arm out like they do in old royalty movies
"How chivalrous", she smiled as she grabbed my arm
"I try", I say as I get the door
"So, since you're relatively new, do you know where it is", she asked as I started the car
"Yes, I indeed do", I smiled thankful I had all that prep time
We drove to DD and jammed out to some music, nothing new. I parked and we went in, it's very small, obviously know for the drive through
"I'll have a large ice-coffee caramel and", she started, waiting for me to finish
"A medium caramel ice coffee too, please", I finished
"Ok, that'll be $4.25", the girl behind the counter said
"I got it", Gabe said getting his wallet out
"Are you sure", I said trying to reach in my pocket
"Positive", I smiled
"I'll get it next time", I smiled
He smiled back
