Just a Dream

Chapter 25

Gabe's POV

"Well I'll see you Monday", I smiled as I pulled up to her house

"Okay", she said, disappointment in her voice

"It will go fast", I reassured, more to myself than anyone

"I know", she smiled slightly

She leaned over and pecked my cheek, her lips are so soft

She started to get out when I cleared my throat

"Yes", she asked innocently

"Two things. One, you missed your intended target", I said pointing to my lips 

She blushed

"And two, we have discussed this", I smiled holding up our entangled hands

She groaned knowing she had to let go

She slowly let go of my hand and folded her hands over her chest

"Missing something", I asked

She rolled her eyes and leaned back over. She slowly pressed her lips against mine and our soft lips danced in rhythm. We eventually pulled away, needing air desperately. When we did, my fast reflexes grabbed the yellow flowers from the back. 

Her eyes landed on the yellow flowers and gasped taking them from me

"Your mom is going to run out of these", she gasped

"She's got like an acre of flowers, I highly doubt she will", I laugh 

She smiles and kisses my cheek again before exiting the car with the flowers and Toni's coffee, leaving hers for me

"Remember to find me for my hand", I yell out the open window 

She turned back around and smiled, before finishing her walk to the door

"Why would you say that dumbass", I mumble to myself

My alarm rang at 5:00 and I slammed it off, breaking a piece of the side off. I got ready for my border patrol and left the house. I shifted into my brown wolf and sprinted to the border

There I met a grey wolf, Howard. He is from the neighboring pack and is my age. We don't really talk to each other, but he's chill. He's next in line in his pack, and I plan to keep the peace treaty with him when our dad retire.

After we wandered the forest in circles for two hours, the people to relieve us came, and we went our separate ways, but not before nodding at each other. 

I shifted and put my clothes back on and headed up the staircase

"How was it today", my dad asked as I was halfway up the stairs

"Peaceful, beautiful", I smiled honestly

"Good", he smiled heading towards the kitchen from the den

I showered and headed to my room to change. I threw on some khakis and a black v neck, with my white converse

"You almost ready Lover boy", Dominic asked as he barged in my room with a towel around his waist 

"Yes, now leave", I say in annoyance

He chuckles and leaves, leaving the door wide open behind him

"Dumbass", I say while shutting it

I brush my teeth and run my hands through my hair to style it

I jog downstairs with my book bag and head for the fruit basket

"We are leaving early", I said pulling up the Dunkin' Donuts app

"Why", Dominic asked with a mouthful of cereal

"Coffee stop", I say ordering a large ice coffee caramel

"For Belle", he asked and I nod

He rolled his eyes and put his bowl in the sink

"She's your future Luna. Show respect", I growl

"Good lord. Sorry Salt Bar", he says throwing his hands up in defeat 

"Come on", I say rolling my eyes heading toward the car

"Bye", Dominic mutters as he leaves to go to his friends

I get out of the car and go find my dear Belle
