The taste of her lips were so sweet. I kept kissing her. I couldn't stop. She started to kiss me back. We kiss for what seems forever. I start to slide my hand down her shirt. She stops me and pulls back.

"Not to fast. I don't want to be one of those girls you sleep with then friend zone them because they arnt "girlfriend" material." She says.

I take both of her hands in mine. "You were and never will be one of those girls. The real reason that I came up here was to ask you to be my girlfriend." I wait for her response.

She looks at me and then looks down. "Am I dreaming" she whispers to herself but just loud enough that I could hear it. I chuckle. She rubs she looks at me. "Are you sure you want me?."

I burst out laughing. "Of course. You bring joy in my life. And I know you feel it to. So what do you say? Will you be my princess?"

She looks at me with those big brown eyes and smiles. "Yes. I would love too!" She gives me a hug. I hold on and don't let go for a long time. I could hold her forever. She finally lets go.

"Okay I guess Ill let you get you rest now." I start to turn around. She grabs my hand.

"You can stay if you want. I was about to watch tv. I couldn't sleep."

"Sure" I reply. She turns on the tv. She slips under the the blanket on their little couch they have in the room. She pats the spot right next to her for me to come sit next to her. I get under the blanket and put my arm around her. She rest her head on my chest. We flip through the channels that the cruise provide.

"Hey do you want to spy on people?" she asked.

I look down at her. "Spy on people? How are we going to do that?" I ask laughing a little. She flips to a channel that shows the pool deck. Wow. It kind of freaks me out that people could be watching us from their rooms if we are at the pool deck.

"The last cruise, Haylee and I watched this when we were bored and we would come up with what people were saying to each other." she says smiling. "we pretty funny when we want to be."

"Wow. You two seem really close. You sound like me and Sam. Just without a camera. Maybe that's why I like you so much." I say as I rub her head playfully.

She smiles and grabs my had to stop. She sits up to look at me. "She has been my best friend since 3rd grade. She was new at school and me, being the friendly one, goes up to her and introduce myself. We were best friends like that. We had our differences, but that what makes us friends and we balance each other our. One being the crazy, wild, outgoing one, and the other being the one who actually thinks about things, reserved, and trimmed."

"Let me guess, your the second one". I say as I lean in, wanting to kiss her.

"Actually, no. I the reserved one. Maddie here, she is the wild one." We both jump as we here Haylee come in. Aaron was waiting at the door. "We go a little worried about you Colby. You never came back so I was going to check on Madison, but I can tell that you have been keeping her company." She winks at Madison. Madison smiles and looks down. Madison, being the wild one? I find that hard to believe. They always say you have to watch out for the shy ones. "Are we interrupting anything"

Madison get up." Um no. Colby was just about to help me pic out what to wear tonight." She says. I nod.

Haylee looks at Madison. "Uh it looks like he helped you get your pants off."

Madison looks down and then at me and then back at Haylee. "No they were off already when he came in. My shirt covers everything. I don't like pants." She say as she shrugs her shoulders. She looks cute in an oversize t-shirt.

"Ill be sure to give you one of my oversize hoodies." I say. She smiles and looks at me.

"Okay Colby I think I can help Maddie  from here. You and Aaron go get ready and we will meet you guys at dinner. Okay see you guys later." She says as she pushes Colby out the door. Then she dramatically turns towards me. "Tell me everything!"

I smile at her. "Nothing happened." I say as I shrug my shoulders non-shalunt. "except that I am no longer on the market."

Haylee jumps up for joy, holding my hands.

I calm her down. "Look, don't tell anyone. I don't know if Colby wants anyone to know and I don't want any of the girls posting about it. Colby should post about it if he wants. I honestly hope he does. You know how jealous I can get."

"He better show off my best friend!" She says. "Now, lets get you dressed. From the looks of it, Colby was doing the opposite." She says sarcastically. "Tonight's casual wear. You need to look hot but not too hot. Im going to pick out your outfit!"

I fake a smile. Haylee and I are best friends but we have our differences, and clothes was one of them. She pics out a sun dress.

"Um I love you, but I just want to wear my ripped skinny jeans, a nice, flowy top and my grey vans. I'll wear my hair down and put on some makeup with hoop ear-rings." I think that is hot for me. The disgust look on her face said otherwise.

"Okay, but I'm wearing this then. At least Aaron will appreciate fine taste." She says.

Mckaylin walks in the door. "Guess who is signed up in the dance competition!!!"

Oh great, she found the signup sheets for that. I was hoping that she wouldn't. You see, aside from all the sports and computer geek stuff, I use to be a dancer. I would train at a summer institute, that is until I crack my ankle sliding into a base playing softball. I was told I had to choose, dance and go to a boarding school and learn to dance professional, or play softball and be an ordinary teenager and be with the people I know best. I picked the second one. My parents didn't like that very much. I look at Mckaylin. "oh please tell me you didn't."

"Actually, we all did." Sarah walked in with the rest of the girls.  Sarah knew what I went through. The other girls, not so much. She was there. The School I would go to was in Australia, The Dance Academy. I have memories there and friends and enemies I haven't talked to in forever. Sarah would have to go with me to make sure I was well accompanied. Also most of the people didn't like the competition coming all the way from Arkansas. "We were hoping that you could teach us some dance moves. We were standing there and some people were challenging us. It felt right." her emphases on "people" made me wonder.

Haylee laughed "Madison? teach us? Look ladies, I think I should help yall. Im not sure Maddie has much experense."

I cut in. "Yeah maybe Haylee would be better at it." I didn't tell any of my friends because they would of been like my parents and pushed me to be famous. I didn't want fame in that way. I wanted to make people laugh, not cry because they feel the amount of emotion in one dance.

Sarah shoots a death glare at me. "you know your 21, out of school and not playing softball professionally right?" She was on the same side with my parents. "oh yeah, Softball was just a temporary thing."

"I am sensing some tension in the air." Brittany get in the middle. "look Haylee can teach us just as good as Maddie. Lets go to dinner and go to the club tonight and worry about it tomorrow."

I was so mad. I knew Sarah had secretly resented me for turning down that offer in Australia. "You guys have fun, tell Colby that I think im coming down with something. I need to go to the gym and work off steam" I say as I look down.

   "But...."

"Sure thing" Sarah cuts off Stef. I grab my gym clothes and head out.
