The countdown to launch was annoying. I was so tired of waiting. But as Raven said if we don't leave on time we won't be anywhere near Clarke and the landing site would be unknown if we left right away. So the pain of waiting would have to commence. We all split to pack but I had Raven come with me. We entered my room. My bag was packed since the first day I heard her voice. I went to the bathroom drawer and pulled out scissors. I walked in extending them to Raven.

"I need a trim," I said.

"How short?" She asked with a mischievous grin.

"As short as you want. I need a change," I nodded.

"Got it."

She started clipping away. By the time she finished my curls had nearly disappeared. I know Clarke would miss them. She always loved them. So did Octavia. Raven then suggested another trim. The scraggly beard that had been just revealing itself.

"Fine."

She shaved it away and when I looked in the mirror I smiled. I forgot what it was like without a little stubble. I thanked Raven and she left to go pack her bags. I went to my closet and I pulled open the doors. Two boxes sat on the ground. The letters. I pulled out the one I had just wrote and looked at it. 1,484 letters later we finally reach the ground. I'm anxious and scared. To see her. To give her all the letters I wrote. If I even have the courage to. Murphy barged in to get me. Time to head to the rocket. It was time to go home. Home to the girl I loved and have been dying to see. She turned 23 a few months ago. She was nearly as old as I was when we landed. 6 years. How did I survive for 6 years on algae and recycled water. How did any of us.

I walked down the hallway of the Ark station for the last time. The last time I want to ever see these walls. Never again am I coming back up here. With all the placidity up here, no thanks. Not unless the world was about to explode and it was the last resort. We surrounded the entrance of the rocket. Raven pulled herself out with her mechanical smile. She was done. I could just feel the words radiating off of her skin. We were leaving. She explained how it would work. We said our goodbyes to Echo & Emori getting into the rocket. I buckled myself in with my backpack strapped of my back. Harper & Monty to my right. Murphy on my left as Raven shut the entrance sealing us in.

"I'm gonna warn you now it's not gonna be a pretty ride. It's going to be rough and bumpy," Raven stated flipping a few buttons on.

"Lets get home," Harper said with a laugh.

Raven smiled messing with a board. We all pulled our helmets on. Murphy looked to me and nodded. I sent a nod back to him. Then with the last pull of a lever the rocket released and everything became real. The G-force made my stomach drop. My breath got caught in my throat I didn't realize I was holding it.
