Murphy
He was writing the letters. Bellamy found his cope. But I feel it may be driving him insane. I knew I wouldn't be able to stop him. He is persistent. Especially when it came to Clarke. From taking her wristband to trying to track her down with a deadly wound. Never less than everything.I began to wander around the Ark. I remember Bellamy talking how he lived on the station not an Ark ship attachment. He had a place he called home. Near Clarke's if I recall was number 1237. I went through each room looking for something. I never thought I'd actually find something. Find the place where Clarke grew up. 1237. Where her mother continued to stay. Where Clarke had all her memories. Not far from the room he made his. I found boxes in a closet and looked through them for hours.
Mostly papers and paperwork and drawings signed by her. I kept the drawing for Bellamy knowing he'd want to see them. But I soon found something better. I pulled out a small box inside the file box. It was a little black tin. I pried it open with my fingertips pulling the metal apart. When it finally popped open I was surprised at the findings. Photos. 15 photos. Each one marked with an age. These were photos of Clarke as she grew. I dug through more finding something I never thought I'd see. The picture of little Clarke and two similar looking faces. I turned the photo to the back.
Bellamy, Clarke, & Octavia
age 12, 11, & 10This was them. They knew each other before Earth. And Clarke knew of Octavia being a second born. Screw the other photos, besides maybe the newest one of Clarke. This one of the three of them was the golden ticket. This is what Bellamy needed. I left the room and made way to find Bellamy. He wasn't in his room. Monty ran into me with excitement. I was confused thinking we'd be here awhile.
"We got the radio on," Monty heaved out of breath.
"Holy shit," I replied sticking the photos in my pocket.
We ran to find the others. They all stood by the radio. Bellamy was far against the wall. He was in denial. I knew him. He didn't think it would work. Monty went to aid Raven again. Harper watching closely and anxiously. I pulled the photos out of my pocket and stepped towards Bellamy.
"It's not going to reach all the way down there. It's impossible," he denied.
"They contacted us before with the dropship. It could work now," Raven barked angry with Bellamy's hopeless response.
"It's going to work. It will. Just have hope," I said setting the photos in his hand.
He looked down at them and held his breath. He hasn't seen that photo in years. He met my eyes. I nodded. He had a sliver of hope left. Just a splinter. Then the unexpected happened. He took me into a hug. A much needed one for the both of us.
"Thank you," Bellamy whispered.
"Anytime," I whispered back before we separated and joined Raven and Monty by the radio.
