"So wake up,
Your sleeping heart,
I know sometimes we'll be afraid,
But no more playing safe,
My dear,
I'm here,
So wake up"
-Wake Up by The Vamps

Did you know that when you're drowning you don't actually inhale right before you black out. It's like no matter how much you're freaking out, instinct to not get any water in is so strong that you won't open your mouth until you feel like your head is exploding. But then when you finally do let it in then it stops hurting it's not scary anymore it's actually kinda peaceful.

Now I've never drowned before but I've always associated these same feelings to being unconscious. Stuck in a nightmare unable to do anything, the horrifying moment of bliss then terror when you realize your not actually awake. Scary stuff man. These thoughts managed to race past at an even faster pace than normal meaning I'd been out for so long I hadn't kept up with my Adderall.

At that moment everything that has happened rushed back and my eyes opened with a jolt. I surveyed my surroundings realizing that I was lying on the metal exam table in the veterinarian clinic. Noticing I had nothing on except a crisp white sheet I fist pumped the air and whispered, "Yes, I'm alive, I think?"

I then looked down at myself and had to blink a few times to be sure of what I was seeing. I frantically reached all around my body only to notice that some things were missing. I tentatively scratched my head only to realize that my short brown hair had grown out from it's buzz cut and was now long, chocolate, thick, wavy tresses. I reached for my face only to notice that my features felt off and my skin was smooth and soft. I then proceeded to scream at the top of my lungs (it sounded a lot more girly than intended) and the whole pack came running in.
