"I need noise
I need the buzz of a sub
Need the crack of a whip
Need some blood in the cut"
-Blood in the Cut by K.FlayStiles
"Stiles!
Stiles!
Stiles, come on wake up!
Please don't do this to me!"My eyes fluttered open and I groaned trying to push the haze of sleep from my brain. Why was my back so sore, was I sleeping on the ground, what the hell? The events of last night came back to me, waking me up and making me alert. I sat up quickly and suddenly.
Thunk!
My forehead connected with something hard and unforgiving making me fall back down from the force of it. I whined from the pain of it and looked up to see Lydia and Derek leaning over me. I groaned again knowing I would be in trouble for something."What happened to you?" Lydia asked worried.
"Oh you know the usual, I tried to do a couple of spells from the books Deaton gave me and actually ended up lighting some candles, which was pretty cool, but then I passed out again which wasn't fun especially since it was on the ground!" I sat in a rush.
Derek and Lydia stare at me blinking while taking a moment to process my word vomit. "Alright that's it we are going to see Deaton!" Derek orders.
"Wait, what but I can't I have to go to school I have a big paper that's due today that will decide my fate!" I argued.
"Oh please we all know you're passing all you classes with flying colors, you're ranked second in the school academically." Lydia retorted.
"Second to you my dear" I shot back.
"You know it." Lydia winked.
"Am I going to have to carry you Stiles?" Derek asks.
"No fine I'll go, just let the record state that I'm doing this out of protest!" I answer exasperatedly running a hand through my hair and glancing down at my outfit and shrugging before Lydia sighs and throws clothes at me leaving the room with Derek in tow. I thank whatever dirty is out there that the fashion queen let me wear shorts! I grab the shoes and followed Lydia and Derek to the Camero.
"So what were you even doing at my house in the first place?" I asked sliding into the car.
"I was going to make sure you were okay." Derek says while driving to the clinic.
"I was going to help you with your outfit." Lydia responded pulling out her phone and calling someone.
While both answers could have been true there seemed to be something off with their responses. I chose to ignore it and decided to relax and listen to the silence save for the interruption of Lydia on the phone every once and awhile.
When we arrived at the clinic I walked in tho see Deaton standing at the door. "Stiles, why don't you have a seat in the back so we can get started, Lydia's already updated me on your condition."
I sat in the back waiting before he came in with a giant syringe. "Oh no is this the part where you're going to harvest my organs!" I exclaimed.
"No I'm just going to take a small blood sample." Deaton responded.
"What the hell do you need my blood for!"
"I need to determine exactly what is happening to you, a blood sample may just shed some much needed light." Deaton took my arm and inserted the syringe.
"Hey this isn't so ba-" Then I made a fatal mistake, I looked down at my arm. Well, that's light's out for me!
