The Chocolate Mission is a restaurant created by the book's male lead, Lucian Taylor.

The building is two stories tall. The building is actually cement, but Lucian thought is was too tacky so he added wood over the cement. He didn't make the inside wood though because he didn't want his building to burn down easily in case of an accident. He then painted the outside exterior a syrup color. The windows are see-through with brown and green vines, the designs look like a replica of hennas. The windows and doors have hanging potted plants decorating it.

On the inside, there is a bulletin board full of sticky notes with people's dreams. Luke really likes to give back to the community and do these kinds of fun things for people who come to his restaurant. Half his profit also goes to people, both young and old, with cancer to the unfortunate.

She was going to enter, but the sign on the door says 'closed for the day'. She narrows her eyes.

What's going on? He hardly closes the shop.

"What's a cutie doing at my humble shop?"

Sang's mouth popped open. She may act cool and aloof, but remember, she has had a 'crush' on these guys ever since she read the books. The original character's feeling was also mixed in, just not as strong since the original Mirabella is long gone by now. She feels her heart thumping loudly and she grips on her skirt tightly. Her mouth goes dry and a bead of sweat rolls down. She doesn't know if it's because of the heat or nervousness. She turns around.

He's...Beautiful. Handsome. Gorgeous. And way better than the image I created for him.

Luke is smiling gently at her. His shirt is off hanging on his shoulder, sweat from the heat glistening his chest and abs. His skin wasn't white but it was tan either. His chocolate eyes showed a type of playfulness and mischievous glint usually seen in children. His long blonde hair was up in a bun, the sides shaved. His lips were twitching a bit as if he was preventing to smile, but in the end, he gave up. He smiled.

"Cat got your tongue, sweetie?"

In this moment, Sang really was mute.

His eyes flashed with worry, "Can you...talk? Sorry, that must have sounded offensive."

Sang snaps back to the present and shakes her head to answer both questions.

"Do you know sign language?" After receiving an affirmative, he goes on to say, "I know sign language, too! You can sign to me. I learned for..." His chocolate brown eyes blur as they loose themselves in a memory.

"Are you open?" Sang signs.

"Hmm? Oh yeah. We were going to open in about ten minutes but I'll let you in since you boosted my ego." He winks at her, and a blush appeared on her cheeks.

God dammit! I though I would have lost that annoying trait since I 'rebirthed'.

She sat down as Luke took a menu from one of the waiters and gave it to her. She begins to examine it.

Some items aren't expensive at all! Talking about money, I don't have SHIT!

Sang felt like crying. This is what she gets for running out impulsively, to try and find, seduce, and woo her man.

"Hey, yo man, we got a slight problem. I don't have any money on me at the moment, and although you seem nice, you don't look like you will be giving me a free dish anytime soon." She signs her sentence quickly.

He laughs, "How 'bout I decide give you a free dish, but in exchange you buy me food of my choice next time we meet again. Deal?"

"Deal."

After seeing the girl leave, he feels like smacking himself for not asking her name. But at least he snuck his card into her pocket. That counts, right?

"You played yourself, bro. Twice."

A co-worker appeared behind his shoulder. This co-worker was named Gage, and was Luke's best friend. Ironically, he actually wears gages. But the small ones.

Luke's mood darkened. I'll get you back, he thought. He failed to confess to his crush once and he doesn't even know this one girl's name, who he might not even meet again.

"Shut up."

"You're telling me to shut up 'cause it's true."

"..."

Luke's phone vibrates and prevents him from further embarrassment. He reads the name of the sender and frowns. It's from Kelly.

Kelly: Hey Angel Face! *insert kissy face* I thought you might want to see something. It's about Mirabella. Come over to her house.

Luke: What are you planning?

Kelly: Ouch, Baby cakes, that hurts. Besides, it's not about what I'm 'planning'. It's what she's done. Come. Over. Now.

Luke and Gage share a look. He feels something in his guts. He doesn't know if it's good or bad yet.

Or he's just hungry.
