𝙰𝚍𝚟𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙻𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝙳𝚊𝚠𝚗

Chapter 13

 The heroes were the first ones go and check if there's any danger ahead of them while the heroines looked for any signs that the figure they saw in the forest was probably following them, when all of a sudden they all heard a loud growl followed by a powerful monstrous roar.

"What in the abyss was that?" Zhask asked while Framis saw something is coming towards them in a distant.

"Uh. Probably that!" He said while the heroes' eyes widen and started to wake up the heroines.

"Alu, what are-?" Before Miya can respond, the demon began stomping its way to them. The heroines quickly recruited as all of them dodge from the demon's fist pounds from the ground.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT thing?!" Harley asked while he used his ultimate, casting a huge ring unto the large beast but it broke free the moment the ring immediately began to shrink.

"Kagura, watch out!" Freya said while Kagura dodged using her second skill and at the same time, used her ultimate against the greater demon but it froze her umbrella and was now unable to get it by magic. The greater demon then made her go farther from her seimei umbrella than she already is, luckily the umbrella immediately unfroze and returned to her.

"It froze my umbrella that quickly." Kagura said while Valir used his fire against the greater demon but then Fierra interfere and since she was invisible and can't be tracked, she countered his fire with her own flames that came from one of her flame attacks.

"Nice shot sis." Azure complemented while Fierra mockingly bowed while returning to where she was currently seated up in the clouds as they continue to watch the heroes and heroines struggle against their magnificent beast.

"What the-?! WOAH!" Valir said while dodging another attack while Lapu-lapu, Alucard, Lesley and Kimmy all tried to attack it but the demon went for defense and build an ice wall with spikes around itself.

"Okay, so it has fire AND ice magic. Big deal." Dyrroth annoyingly said as he used his second skill then his first but the greater demon just pushed him backwards when he was in mid-air by letting out a horrible and painful scream. The heroes and heroines covered their ears for a while and distanced themselves away from the demon.

"Alright, first thing's first. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THAT THING DOING IN A PLACE LIKE THIS?!?" Martis asked practically needing answers right now.

"Maybe it's one of the demons who can get out of the abyssal territory and had caught up to us." Vexana said while still yawning when all of a sudden the demon charges at them which were blocked by Tigreal and Gatotkaca, with Tigreal using his second skill which pushed the demon back and had it on mid-air.

Hilda then performed her first skill and charged back while Alucard combo his second then first skill making the greater demon retreat.

"We have some time now." Hilda said while still taking a few glances while they absorb what just happened.

"Alright, what do we know about this thing so far?" Alucard asked while still on his guard and looks at the demon from afar who was staring at them.

"Well, we know that he came charging at us meaning that he has both physical and magical damage as well as for his self defence. It is definitely a demon and added to that, he has fire and ice magic plus loud and horrible screaming which can make your ears shut down." Guinevere commented with much sass.

"Oh and did I mention that IT CHARGED AT US WHEN WERE NOT YET READY?!" Gwen said through gritted teeth while they all stepped back a bit and heard the demon roared again and suddenly, its roar was also horrifying to the ears and this made the heroes and heroines cover their ears again.

"I. Can't. Take. It!" Granger said while uncovering his ears for a while and open fire at the greater demon which made it shut up and shake some of the already stuck up bullets unto its throat.

"Anyone has a plan?" Granger said while reloading his gun.

"We could try this, the demon will be stun by Johnson while Odette is inside when he transformed into a car. Meanwhile, Gord and Eudora will attack from the sides and double stun it, that way we can attack it at will. Then, I will drain its life force using my ultimate and lastly, a fire and wind combo by Vale and Valir, you'll combine your spells. The when it gets knocked up by the air by Vale, Guinevere will prolonged it being in mid-air when she charged at him immediately using her ultimate then all will attack at will." Alice said while everyone agreed to the plan.

"It's charging itself at us!" Hanabi said while the greator demon was at full speed, Johnson already transformed and Odette was already inside as he drives towards the demon. The plan was about to commence when the demon is running away from Johnson.

"Uhhh, Alice?-" Moskov was about to pin point when she teleported herself in front of the demon and used her second skill to stun him then Johnson followed after, while Odette immediately went out and performed her ultimate, making the heroes and heroines attack at will.

Alice was now healed by Angela and used her ultimate while both Gord and Eudora already performed their stun skills. Next Vale and Valir was about to perform their converged spell when the demon broke free and grabbed Odette who tried to stun him but was stopped when Guinevere stepped in and used her second skill plus her ultimate which got the demon in mid-air once more then both Vale and Valir caught the demon along the fire tornado with Gwen being pulled off by Kagura and Odette.

"Did that do it?" Miya asked while she held two more arrows in case of a surprise attack. The tornado stopped and the grass was visibly burnt because of the fire. The greater demon was down, smoke emitting from its already burnt body.

The heroes and heroines were about to celebrate when all of a sudden the greater demon was up.

"OH COME ON!" Dyrroth said.

"It didn't even left a scratch!" Miya said while firing her arrows to make the greater demon slow down and freeze for a fair amount of time.

"Finish it off now!" Alice said while the Natalia, Hayabusa, Hanzo, Gusion, Helcurt, Karina, Selena, Lancelot and Saber were circled against the demon and each one finished it off with their own chosen skills, ending the demon as it lay there while the heroes and heroines stared at it fades away, leaving a decayed bed of flowers and grass.

The heroes and heroines all plopped down with dropping their weapons against the grass as they all sighed.

"What a day this has been." Selena exhaustedly said while she laid down on the grass of flowers.

"That's it, I'm officially drained for the day." Alice said while she was beside Selena.

"But gotta hand it to you Alice, that was some quick thinking." Tigreal said while he and the other heroes sat on the grassy grounds.

"So, a little rest, then ready to get back to our beds in the Dawn manner?" Zhask asked while the heroines instantly perked up.

"Are you joking or something Zhask?" Freya said while insisting Zilong to stand up.

"Freya-"

"Don't complain mister. I know that you know that you miss your bed and the pillows as much as I do." Freya said, cutting Zilong before he can even have a chance to talk back, the other heroines nod their head and soon dragged heavy and a little tired heroes through the meadow and now through the dirt road.
