"The power of imagination makes us infinite"- John Muir
Before I begin you on your wonderous journey, I would like to say thanks to all those whose quotes have made their way into words, and into this story. This story became something more than I could ever have imagined, and although it isn't quite finished yet it never will be. It's a fact no one would like to admit- no story is ever finished.
Taking time out to read other authors' imaginations run wild in order to present our imaginations with new, bright ideas and images is an amazing experience. Allowing us, as readers to get intouch with ourselves and our emotions, to see the world differently. To see how they imagine things to be, and interpret their ideas for ourselves and beleive it to be true. It's amazing what a book can do to you.
Think of all the great books you've read- the most thrilling ones, the ones that moved you totally inside and out, ones which made you re-think you're own life status and the ones that left you pondering over unanswered questions- allowing you to fill in the gaps yourself, unleashing your imagination further.
"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination"- Albert Einstein
The imagination is a great thing, and I envy many who use it to the greatest of it's capibilities because I know that I can't.
We find ourselves, that as we get older we tend to push the imagination away, think of it as a false thing and foolish thing, something which shouldn't be kept as it was when you were all but a child. However, upon aging further we find we want it back, to be able to escape from the drama of the world around us and escape into a world of our own.
The imagination is a great thing, and so is life. Run wild and free, and most of all- be happy.
"Reality leaves a lot to the imagination" -John Lennon
"The world of reality has it's limits; the world of imagination is boundless." -Jean Jacques Rousseau
