“Okay, you all set to go, Olivia?” Oscar asked.

“Yep, ready as I’ll ever be.” I swung the backpack filled with supplies over my shoulder. “You ready, Andy?”

“Yup! Wait, how come I don’t get a bag?”

“Cause Oscar only packed one bag. It would be too much trouble to ask for another one.”

“Ugh, fine. Let’s go already.”

“Just hop in the truck. I’ll drive you to the edge of town, but you’ll have to walk the rest of the way.”

“Thanks again Oscar, you’re the best!”

“Ah, it’s nothing!”

We drove along the road for a long time. Oscar lives pretty far away from Williamstown. After driving for a while, we were at our stopping point. He let us out.

“Now, don’t forget to come back sometime, you hear? I’d love to see you again.”

“I’ll come to visit, don’t you worry.”

“Alright, you be safe now!” He hopped back in his truck and drove away, leaving me and Andy to travel the rest of the way.

“Man, he could’ve driven us to the edge of our town.”

“Not without running out of gas, besides it’s not too far. I’ve wanted to take another walk anyways.”

“Really? After all of this you want to walk some more?

“Yup! Now move your feet, I want to see Percy as soon as I can!”

We walked for a fairly long time. It was around 3pm when we arrived at our hometown. The place looked so peaceful, blue jays were chirping away, and a warm breeze went through the air. The sky was clear, only a few poufy white clouds here and there. I sighed. “Man, I’ve missed home…” Andy sighed.

“Yeah, I have too.”

We walked around a bit, relaxing a bit before the final confrontation came. We went pass our school. It looked like a football game just finished. I heard a shriek of a bunch of girls. I walked into the stadium to see Percy pushing a bunch of girls back. I clenched my teeth. There was no way in hell I’d let them take my Percy.

“Aw, c’mon Percy! It’s just a movie!” One girl pouted.

“Yeah it’ll be fun! You’d have a great time with us.” She winked at him, and then tugged at his arm.

“Hey, I’m sorry, but I’ll only date one girl.” They all got quiet. Suddenly they started shrieking even louder than before.

“WHO!?!”

“IS IT ME!?!”

“NO WAY IT’S YOU IT’S ME!!”

Percy just shook his head. Man these girls were dumb.

“No, I’d only date Olivia.” They all got a clueless look on their face. Wow, thanks girls.  I thought.

“My girlfriend?” Percy explained.

“Ugh, her? REALLY PERCY? C’mon you can do so much better than her. Besides she’s a goner. She’s never coming back.”

“Yes she will.” Percy stated “I know she will.”

It was nice seeing Percy being so loyal. But still, this had to end.

“Yeah right. How long has it been? Two weeks? She ain’t coming back sweetheart.”
