Pound Cake

Chapter 1

It was 5:39 am in the morning when a young lady was screeching in the labor room . She was about to give birth to a beautiful baby boy . She loved him with all her heart but had to let him go due to her critical health in which she was about to pass away . Once the baby was born she whispered into his tiny ears "You'll be something big one day" and she slowly closed her eyes and passed away.

Crockett Adoption Center

Mrs.Graham- "Oh honey , i'm so excited to be finally getting to take him home today. We can finally have a family" "Yes sweetie I'm happy too." Mr and Mrs Graham had been married for a total of 9 years now and been trying to have children. But it failed , so today they would be adopting a baby boy.

As they approached the front desk , Mrs.Graham got more and more jittery. "Good morning how may I help you ma'am ?" We are here to pick up our child," the scrawny little lady behind the desk pulled out a stack of files. "name?" , "Mr. and Mrs. Graham" as the small woman was typing as slow as ever , Mrs.Graham started to get annoyed " Ah.. there we go , right this way sir, ma'am" they followed her to the back there they had been hit with the screeching sounds of noisy children all over the place. 'Wow' Mr.Graham thought looking quite shocked. The lady then disappeared in a room and soon came out with a beautiful baby boy. She handed him to his new mother she held him and rocked him as tears starting to form . She instantly remembered her dad when she looked into his deep dark brown eyes . Her father Aubrey was a great , majestic man. "Aubrey , is what we shall call him," Mr. Graham stated. Mrs. Graham nodded in agreement. "The baby is so adorable." The lady behind the desk said causing mr. and mrs. graham to look up remembering she was still there. "We'll we should get going, your going to see you home now baby Aubrey." mrs. graham said in a playful baby voice.
