Chapter 4

Drakes Pov

I woke up the next morning to my phone singing the chorus of 'We dem boys' by wiz Khalifa. That was my favorite song at the moment. I checked to see who was calling me. AMBER! I picked up the phone right away.

Drake: "Hey amber." I said in my best manly voice.

Amber:"Hey Aub... I mean 'Drake'!"

Drake: "So what up?"

Amber: "I was wondering since it's Friday if you would wanna hang out after school?"

Drake: "yeah sounds cool whatcha wanna do?"

Amber: "Well my friend is throwing this huge party at his house and everyone is invited!"

Drake:" I don't know Amber. I don't really go these kinds of parties they seem to... risky."

Amber: "Oh come on it'll be fun. PLEASSSSSEE!!!"

Drake:" Huh.. alright."

Amber:" Yay! See you at school"

And then I heard a click indicating she was

I then heard a loud thud. I turned around to see my roommate Kaleb sprawled out on the floor. He had fell down the last two stairs. I was trying my hardest not to laugh before I made sure he was ok. I walked to him and helped him out.

Kaleb: "Aye thanks man."

Drake:" Nah homie it ain't nun you know you my best friend so I gotta help a ninja out. You alright tho?"

Kaleb:" Yeah dogg I'm fine."

Drake: "Good so that means I could do this." I bursted into laughed and I doubled over holding my stomach. He sucked his teeth.

Kaleb:"Maine you trippy dogg."

I left out our house and made it to my car. It was 3:00 in the afternoon and I was hungry so I decided to grab a bite to eat. I headed for McDonald's and got food for me and Kaleb because every time I brought something back with nothing for him he got upset. I then made my walk back to the house

Drake:" Here Bruh I brought you some food." I said as I walked into the house

Kaleb: "Ayeeee you da best lil homie you ain't have to do that."

Drake:" Whatever you know you would've been mad if I didnt."

Kaleb:" You right I would've." We laughed. "So you tryna hit up this party tonight or what?"

Drake:"Yeah Amber invited me so I guess I'll go. You taggin?"

Kaleb:" Yeah Maine I ain't stayin here bored on a Friday."

Drake:" Aight well I'ma take a nap before we go."

Kaleb:" It's my 4th year clean of abuse anniversary so Ima go treat my self to a lady and some food." He said with a smirk.

Drake:" What ever Kaleb just don't bother me.
And with that he got ready and left. I was thinking hard about this party and Amber. I wanted to go to make her happy but I didn't want anything bad to happen. I decided I might as well. My eyes got heavy and then blank.

Renée:"Aye Thots wake up!"

Mel:"Trick tf why you wakin me up at 2:00 and we ain't got nun to do toady?!"

Renée: "Acutally we do Micha is throwing a big party and he said he wanted us to go."

Mel:" exactly how did he say it?"

She pulled out her phone to show them.

Michyy pooh😂😘- PARTY AT MY PLACE!! Your invited to my party! I'm having everything here so you won't wanna miss it!!😜 Be here at 11:00pm no earlier! See ya there!! ~Micha✌️

Mel: "I didn't get the memo I'm not going. I don't crash parties." She crossed her arms.

Estelle: "Check your phone."

All except Estelle: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ESTELLE!!!!"

Estelle: ☺️😊 "I thought yall forgot."

The girls go shopping for the party and Estelle's birthday they have cake and ice cream and go out to lunch.

Mel: "I would like a watermelon peach margarita please."

Renée:" I'll take a double berry mojito."

Mel:" Go ahead Estelle your finally 21."

Estelle: "I'll have a peppermint spice martini."

Chantelle: "May I have the same thing as Mel?"

Mel:" A virgin though she's only 19."

Waiter:" I'm sorry ma'am we don't do virgins anything else?"

Chantelle:"Huh fine I'll take a sparkling strawberry lemonade." "And can I have it in a wine glass so I can feel 21?"

Waiter:"Haha I'll see what I can do. what's the rush? It's better to be young trust me."

He walks off and later returned with the drinks and got their orders and brought them.

Mel:"So Estelle, how would y..."

Renée:" Oh my gosh don't look now but there's kaleb with some girl."

They all turn around

Renée:"I said don't look!"

Kaleb see and smirks and walks over.

Kaleb: "Well well well, look who it is."

Renée:"What do you want Kaleb."

Kaleb:"Oh nothing just out with Liane."

Lily:"It's lily."

The girls snicker.

Kaleb:"Right right well what are you lovely ladies doing here tonight? "

Renée:"Noth..."

Estelle:" We're celebrating my birthday so could you please leave?"

Kaleb:" Well I'm sorry to hear in not invited." He slides 50 dollars to Estelle.

Renée:" She doesn't want your money Kaleb." She says through gritted teeth.

He tries to take it back.

Estelle: "No no Ill keep it."

Renée sucks her teeth. Kaleb and lily walk away.

Renée:"Really Estelle?!"

Estelle:" Babbyy lemme tell you somethin you don't EVER turn down no money."

Everyone laughs except Renée.

Renée:"UGH!"

They eat and enjoy the rest of their lunch.
