Chapter 12

The weekend arrived. Finally! I had waiting all week to go to the shopping centre with Eloise for ages. I took the tube to her flat and she drove us there while we were jamming out to The Fray and The Killers.

To be completely honest I only wanted to go because I wanted a kfc... I hope they got more chicken. Eloise just dragged me out because she needs a fancy dress for her nephew's wedding. This makes her sound really old but her brother is like twenty years older than her and her cousin is like twenty-one so.

We'd only been there for an hour and I was already fed up with shopping, I just wanted some popcorn chicken. Eloise was off in her own world, looking at every dress in sight, so I decided to check my phone for the millionth time in the past fifteen minutes.

"Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygodddd. Haley!" I only just heard Eloise before she ran right into me. I only had a few seconds to react before she started freaking out even more. "Do you see that person over there?"

I diverted my gaze to follow her pointing and I noticed a familiar mop of blondish hair. "Yeah, isn't that-"

"YES! It's bloody Caspar Lee." I had literally never seen her so excited.

"Okay, calm down there. Let's go say hi, shall we?" I stopped her jumping around and we hurriedly made our way towards Caspar.

"Um, hi Caspar," Eloise said timidly, causing Caspar to turn around, "I'm a massive fan, can I get a picture please?"

His face broke into a smile when she asked for a photo. "Yeah, of course," He smiled to me, "Hey Haley."

I smiled back to him, "Hey Caspar."

This is the point when Eloise looked so shocked that I had met him before, "You've met fucking Caspar Lee and you didn't even tell me?!"

I held my hands up in surrender, "I didn't know you were a fan." she gave me a seriously  look. I then had a moment of realisation, "Oh wait, it's Caspar on your phone wallpaper isn't it?"

Her eyes went wide as she began to comprehend what I just said. "Did you have to say that in front of him, Haley?"

"Oh yeah, like if we met Dylan O'Brien, you wouldn't tell him that he's my home screen?"

She didn't say anything to that but Caspar did, "So, your lock screen is that Dylan guy instead of Joe? You should not let Joe see that."

"Let me see what?" Speak of the devil.

"Hi Joe." I said as I hugged him.

"Hey Haley, let me see what?" he repeated.

"Um," I tried to stall and then I spotted Eloise, jaw hanging open, no clue what was going on, "oh Joe, this is my best friend, Eloise. She's a huge fan, I think."

Eloise said hey to Joe and all four of us got a picture together. "Okay, tell me now." Eloise turned to me, "How you knew Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee and probably someone else and you didn't tell me."

"I did tell you about Joe." I protested, "Somewhat." She gave me the what do you mean  look. "Well, you know I said that I was, like, seeing someone."

"That would be me." Joe confessed as he swung his arm around my shoulders.

I knew right then that I was in a serious situation. Eloise would be asking me questions all day (she did) and it would get quite annoying.

"Before you start asking me stuff and, knowing you, not stopping for hours, can we get some food?" I asked her.

"Fine," she agreed, "food first."

Oh thank god. "Hey dudes, have you had lunch already?"

They both shook their heads so we made our way to the food court. I found the kfc, still no chicken fml. I ended up getting a cheeseburger from McDonalds which was pretty good, what wasn't good was Eloise's voice in my ear, "Why didn't you tell me about Joe?", "Did you even know that he was the Joe Sugg?", "Oh my god, my best friend is going out with Joe Sugg!", "Have you kissed yet? Oh yeah, probably, I mean, you're you.", "Can I have a bite of your burger?"

Okay, that last one was irrelevant but it was said plenty of times.

I was only trying to enjoy my burger but both Caspar and Eloise were asking us questions every five seconds and it just was, you know. "Alright Eloise, you know I love you, and Caspar, you seem like a decent enough lad but could you just shut it until I've at least finished my burger please?" I ended with a smile and took another bite of my burger.

From next to me I heard a snigger coming from Joe which made me smile through my mouthful.

"Oi, can we get a pet or something?" I asked as I barged my way into Brett's room and flopped onto his bed.

"Um, who is that? Is that your girlfriend?" I heard from Brett's phone.

I gave him a strange look and sat up next to him to see him face timing some girl. "Who wants to know?"

She gave me that bitch face, you know the one, and I immediately didn't like her. "I do, because, unlike you, Brett actually predicaments a future with me."

I wasn't sure if this girl was really dumb or she just hit her head really hard but nonetheless I stared at her with amazement. "Alright, please define predicament, Nicole."

"Um, firstly my name is Renée, and predicament means 'wants to have' you dumb bitch."

It took a lot of will power to not start laughing right then because she couldn't be more wrong, "Okay, Renée, I have three words for you." she rose her eyebrows in a 'threatening' manner. "Fuck off, bitch!" and with that, I hung up.

Brett and I started to burst out laughing, "Thanks H, I couldn't bear another minute with her."

"Ha, no problem," I paused for a second, "now back to what I was saying earlier."
