So, I finally updated yay! But I think that I should give you an explanation as to why I haven't for like four weeks. Now, you don't have to read it so you can just skip it but if you want to hear then I'm going to put it at the end of the chapter.
But Ima give you a recap cos even I cant remember what happened in the last chapter.
So, pretty much they went to see the maze runner and now they're both back at Haley'sChapter 11
I flopped down onto my bed, face first and let out a huge sigh.
Joe sat back in my spinny armchair and looked around. "Nice colourful room you've got here."
"Yeah, just let all the oranges and pinks and greens soak into you until you believe that this obviously rainbowy room is just a plain grey room." I sat up and began to question if my words actually made sense. "Did anything I just said make any sense to you?"
He looked straight into my eyes. "Not one word."
I made a scoffing noise as I grabbed my laptop from my bedside table. "You gonna stay there all day or do you actually wanna be near me?" I indicated for him to come and sit next to me on my bed.
He did just that and lied next to me as I opened up my laptop, which I embarrassingly left open on one of Joe's videos. I just freezed, my hand hovering over the mouse. "Well, it looks like someone is more into me then I thought, eh." Joe smirked at me as I physically face palmed.
"Right, lets look at something else." I opened a new tab onto Netflix.
"Not going to close that tab, I see how it is." he carried on smirking.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Oh, shut it Sugg." I softly slapped his arm. "Film, movie or series?"
He thought for a minute while looking at my list and suggestions. "What's this?" he indicated to a series on recommended, "It says 'because you watched Die Hard, you'll love', what's this called?" I hovered the mouse over the show.
"Brooklyn nine-nine." I turned to face Joe and shrugged. "New York cop show, why not?"
"Let's watch it."
I really enjoyed the show, I'm pretty sure it's the one that Izzy has wanted me to watch for ages, she'll be proud. We did end up watching it for quite a while and before we knew it, it was 7 o'clock and we were both hungry.
I paused it on the intro. "Oi, do you fancy like a curry or something?"
Joe turned to me and looked at me with his stunning eyes, "Yeah, I could do with something spicy." I smiled at him and brought up my contacts. "Wait," I turned from my phone, "you have Kayal on your contacts?" he laughed.
"Yeah," I laughed back, "is that bad?" Joe shook his head. "Well, if you don't think that's sad then you probably will think this is."
"What could possibly be that bad?" He asked. I gave him the 'you have no idea what I'm about to do' look. I reached over him to my bedside table and grabbed a binder from the shelf.
"This just looks like a normal binder right?" I set it down on the bed in front of us. "Well, actually..." I opened the binder to reveal like twenty five takeaway menus.
"Oh my god," Joe started laughing yet again, "I can see you like your takeaways."
I shook my head, "Actually I rarely get takeaway to be honest, anyways this is the Indian section." I flicked to curries. "Oh and the green pen is how spicy it was for me and the red pen is how spicy it was for Brett because I don't know your spiciness tolerance."
"This is quite cool." Joe started to flick through the pages. "Wait," he stopped looking and brought his eyes to one particular dish, "you've written two chillies for chicken tikka masala." He look at me in disbelief.
"Not everyone's good with spice okay." I defended myself as I clicked a contact on my phone, "Do you know what you want?"
"mm-hum" he mumbled as I rang Kayal up and ordered our food and an extra bread thing for Brett because he's always hungry.
"Now we wait for like twenty minutes for our food. I cant wait." I unpaused the show and we went back to Brooklyn nine-nine.
Halfway into the episode, I felt Joe's eyes on me. I flicked my eyes to meet his as he slowly leaned closer to me. I scooched a little bit further towards Joe but we didn't break eye contact. I decided I wanted to mini-prank him, so when he was just about to kiss me I went in for a hug. I started bursting out laughing, not only because of what I did but also that Joe looked a bit upset and his face was so cute.
"Don't worry, I'm not always that mean." I said quickly and immediately afterwards leaned in to kiss him. He was firstly taken aback by suddenness but after a few seconds he was fine.
Of course, annoyingly, Brett decided that this was a great time to fling my door wide open and look at what I'm doing. "Whoa, calm down there guys."
"Thanks mate, I thought that this would be the one day where you would knock before you came into my room." I half yelled, half sighed at him.
"I only came to say that your food's here." he started to walk away.
At the mention of food, I sprang from the bed and rushed to the door, "Why didn't you lead with that?" I yelled to Brett down the hallway.
A/N - Hello, I'd like to thank you for reading this after me not updating for a month (sorry) but here is why:
Firstly, I went on holiday for like one and a half weeks where I couldn't update because that's family time and relaxing time and also there was no wifi which sucked. And then I had a skiing accident, I've torn my mcl and my acl in my knee. So for the past few weeks I've been trying to sort my life out and I've also been quite depressed because I can't do sports for like a year (and I normally do sports at least once a day) so yeah.
I will try to update more but maybe not as much as before, I hope you liked this chapter and if you did then please leave a vote or a comment, BYEE!
