What does she mean? That's strange. I fold the note from Dan up and shove it in my pocket. I walk back the way I came.
I get up to the dusty store room and walk out to my car. I read the note one more time. I buckle up and slam my head on the steering wheel. Do I go to the city hall or listen to the ghost?
I just sit there and slam my head on the steering wheel repeatedly. I keep clinching tighter and tighter until my knuckles are bleeding. I wipe off the blood and straighten up.
What should I do? The ghost seemed pretty convincing. But on the other hand I want to know what is happening in this strange little town. Maybe seeing the ghost was just all an allusion. I need to go find this Leslie woman.
I start my car and pull out onto the highway. I start on my way to town hall and I get right in front of the building when BAM! And my vision fades to black.
