We Are Too Diffrent

Chapter 2

Mason's P.O.V 

"What do you mean!? Chess club or Drama do i look like a Damn chess nerd hell no i-"I was cut off by my guidance counselor."First off mister Alexander no cursing or it's detention and second of all you need this credit so it's either Drama or chess club"I huffed harshly and got up out of the seat and started to pace around in her office.

"Mrs.Lennon could you get me into to something that I'm more into or my type"I asked agitated"And what exactly is your type Mr.Alexander?"I Stopped walking and started to look around the room and started thinking what am i into?

"Football, Lacrosse, Baseball anything but chess and drama"I said more apprehensive.

"Drama it is"

She said writing a pass and handing it to me.I just stared at her hand and she obviously started to get impatient because she gave me that 'You better do take this or else' face.I snatched the Pass and walked away.Making my way to the auditorium I am even more pissed off...Because of right now I just got assigned to start drama I swear once i get this credit i am done with this school and everyone in it and secondly before i was called to the guidance office I recently broke up With Andrea my on and off girlfriend because first she is too clingy and really slutty i liked that shit at first but then it started to get annoying.

I make it to the auditorium and as i open the door it makes a creaky sound.Walking in all eyes are on me just the way i like it but then one person catches my eyes  Samantha Jordan one hot piece of ass is smirking with her curly blonde hair and brown eyes i didn't even know she was into this but damn i have to get her number i don't even notice anyone else except for Leiah Price the girl who dated Sean Abernathy or so i heard and she actually doesn't look all that bad today but she was sitting in the back wiping something off her chin.I chuckle lightly and continue my walk into the drama teacher's office.

After about five minutes of going over rules and shit.I yawn loud and obnoxiously and he gets the hint by just getting to the point and telling me where to sit.I mutter an 'okay' as i walk out of his office and into my new seat which is two seats behind and to the left of Leiah.Why the hell am i sitting so far back here?.I just shake the thought out of my head and head to my seat and waiting for the teacher to come out i Just text random hoes i usually mess around with.But i am interrupted by a loud 'Hello good morning class' I sighed heavily and lifted my head up to see that class has begun and i put my phone away.

"Today we start Romeo and Juliet"He says and as soon as it leaves his mouth Leiah in front of me starts to jump up and down in her seat she looks like a kid who just got there first piece of  candy.And i cant help but to laugh but i quickly try to cover it up when she turns to face me with a scowl look on her face then turns around quickly.And as Mr.Burns is talking i tune him out and start to find my self dozing off.But i quickly recover when i hear shuffling around me i look around and everyone is sitting up front on the stage in a circle in chairs.I get up lazily and make my way to the stage when i get there i sit down and to find that the only seat that is left is next to...Samantha! Bingo! I smirk as i go to sit down but then I'm face to face with Leiah! This bitch just doesn't disappear does she.

I take a quick glance around the circle and notice there are only a few other boys in here and they all look either Weird, Creepy, And just plain awkward.I shiver just a bit and listen to what he says.

"Okay so obviously everyone up here is going to participate so i need everyone's attention"After he said that i seemed that everything had stopped literally because everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him if he were some handsome god.But in all honesty he had a beer gut and he had a bald spot in the middle of his head.

"If you want to participate in the play stay here and if you want to help back stage move to the other side and either way everyone gets a grade who participates."I was about to get up when i heard him say'You sit down'I sighed and sat back down.A few minutes have passe and he has finally stopped talking.And everyone is going to where they want to be.I turn to look at Samantha but only to find the seat next to me empty and her standing with a group of about 9 people on the other side of the stage.And as i continue to look around i see that i am in a group of about 20 people damn i didn't even know there where that many people in here.

"Okay i will send around a piece of paper and on the sheet of paper write the character you think you want to act"He says standing up.

I am first to get the sheet of paper and as im about to write my name down i see that my name is already down with the character name Romeo next to it i look up and give Mr.Burns a 'Really' face.I sigh and pass the paper on and as the paper goes around.I carefully inspect the people and try to glance at what name they write down on that sheet in all honesty i hope whoever Juliet is isn't a loser.The paper is finally back at the teacher and he starts to read off the names.

"Kaitlin as Lady Capulet, Juan as Benvolio, Mason as Romeo, Leiah as Lady Montague"He trails of the 'UE' in Montague and he takes the pencil from behind his ear to erase something on the sheet of paper and rewrite's something."Ah there we go Leiah you are the new Juliet"He says proudly i just wanted to punch the shit out of him.

Damn i don't want Her to be Juliet after what i saw her doing with Sean that shit freaked me out and scared me how can someone be that ugly not that im judging a guy it's just..whatever.And i bet in all honesty she doesn't want me to be Romeo I hear her trying to get him to change his mind but he just tells her it's either this or her grade after about a minute of her trying to comply with him she gives up and he walks into his office and back out with a stacks of pamphlets im guessing which were the scripts he hands everyone a packet but not without writing the names on them first.He hands everyone there packets and tells everyone to start rehearsing and with that he walks over to the other group to get them started.I look over to Leiah to see her staring at me with a Mean scowl on her face.I smirk and she mouth'I Do Not Like You'and i laugh she gets up and starts to make her way over to me.

"Listen here Mister Alexander all off this depends on my grade so don't screw it up for me"I laugh at her attempt to try to intimidate me."Baby girl you listen"I say standing up closing the inch gap between us."You don't scare me and nor did your little threat so how about you don't screw this up for me not that you could if you wanted to because it already looks like Burns has already taken a liken to me"She huffs and stomps her foot like a little child.

"Well then i only have two rules"She says walking over to get her bag and walking back over."Well lay it on the table"she looks up at me"One don't be a jackass i want to get this done so the quicker the better" "Well it's not that i would want to be anywhere else"I say sarcastically.She looks at me and raises an eyebrow"And two don't fall in love with me"

And with that she walks away leaving me in total astonishment.

I will probably update everyday being that i get out of school tommrow for summer!
