MASON'S P.O.V

Everything Was going great until Gina A.K.A My stepsister, Well the bitch isn't my stepsister anymore my Mom and Her father had got a divorce, Be she never seems to go, See i hate Gina for one reason, She is trouble, Before I became Mr.Popular, I was Mr.Trouble i hung around the wrong crowd, And did stupid things, Shit I was even Placed on Probabtion, But she did one thing i could never forget, A few years Back there had been a Rape, And she Had blamed it all on me, I was once her family and that shit obviously didn't matter to her It was Her friend Kaitlyn and she had ran and told Gina and she had named a few other names, But my name never Came up And gina Being the devious little bitch she is, Litterally went to the cops, And she was Supposed to be family She even took the audacity to tell the victim's Parent's My parents were so Disappointed in me They had tried so hard to restore there image of the perfect family.

"How may i help You?"I asked Stubbornly, Getting up and Pulling Leiah up with me.

"Can we Talk?...Alone."She asked hopefulness Staggering in her voice, "I don't thi..." "Babe go ahead it seems as though things need to be cleared up." Leiah said Sweetly, Damn im Falling in for her, And hard, "Ill be over At the Bench, Okay?".

"Okay, Ill be over there in a sec."I said I gave her a quick kiss and she walked away, I had gestured for Gina, to take the lead.

"So look im Sorry, And im sorry for everything that i did, I just--" "Why did you do it?" I said through gritted teeth, And Venom lacing in my voice. "I just wanted Them to Care more about me, It's like as soon as My dad, Met your mom they were both More interested in you more then me And i did what i did to make them seem like i was the perfect child, They didn't even Show up to My volleyball game But yet they went to your Wrestling Match." She said a Tear streaming down her Cake face, Dont get me wrong Gina Was Very Beautiful With her abnormal shaped head Honey blond hair And Green Eyes, It's just under all of that was a Corrupted corpse on the inside.

"So, Jealousy? You were so jealous, You would Rat me out the Damn, Cops? For something you know i didn't do?"I said Raising my voice a bit, She looked so scared, And speechless, I was Just tired of her prescence, I Just walked away, I heard Her Yell that She's 'Sorry' Sorry my ass.

I walked to the bench where Leiah had been seated reading a book on her phone, She had told me about it, It was Called 'Night' By Elie Wiesel., I had sat down and Put my arm around her And i guess it scared her, because she jumped and held a hand to her chest.

"Everything okay?" She asked Earnestly, "Everything is Fine" I replied with a smile.

We had spent that evening at the park until Night hit, Just enjoying eachother's Company.

I Mason Alexander, Could honestly say that I am Now a softie.

4 Months Later.

I had recently taken Leaih, Out to see Romeo and Juliet the reinvented version, And i was Suprised, She rarely cried i saw her let a few tears through but she didnt cry Hysterically like the Girl in front of us.

And she decided we take a walk, Since we went to the movies we didn't really dress up i had on a Black V-Neck with A pair of Black Jeans, and my Gamma blue 11's She had on the same thing Because she thought it would be cute if we matched, But during our walk she was odly quiet, "You okay?" "Yeah im just feeling a little sick"She said with a shrug of her shoulder's, "If your sick i can take you home or get you something." I Said a bit worried.

"Im fine" She said Agressively, "Don't start Leiah." I Said with the same amount of Agressiveness.

"I have Leukemia"She said teary eyed. Shocked I took a few steps away not noticing I dropped her hand so Forceful like with a look of hurt prancing onto her face.

"What?, why didn't you tell me?"I asked Defeated.

"The doctor told me to live normal, A normal life." She said Looking down.

"Im sorry" Was the last thing she said before she walked away, I was too Angry to even go after her, What in her right mine would Posess her to keep A thing like having 'leukemia' Trapped away What she had just said hit me like a ton of bricks, I couldn't even lift my foot up To go after her.

When i could move I drove i just Drove until I got to my destination, I got out of the car and Ran to the front door, I dont even know if i closed my door But at that moment nothing mattered.

When i was at the door, I was banging constantly After mimutes of banging i gave up And Was about to walk away until the front door opened, "Mason?" I turned around Looking up and down I noticed a tear had slipped.

"Dad, I need your help, My girlfriend is dying."
