We Are Too Diffrent

Chapter 5

Leiah P.O.V.

It was finally the end of the day and i couldn't wait to go home and take a nap before i go out to celebrate with Alexis and before Mason come's over. I was walking out of the school before i heard my name being called.I turned around to find Alexis Hastily walking over to me but not without hitting a few people with her book bag.

"Hey can you give me a ride home?"She asked out of breath.

"Yeah sure."I said and with that we walked to my new car. I don't think i will be tired of saying that for at least six months. We both got in and i was about to reverse out of the parking spot until i saw Carter Campbell. He's the guy that everyone loves he's not like mason he is actually a gentlemen i think.I click out of space when i realize i am still backing up and i am about to hit him, And i guess he notices because he suddenly sticks his arms out like when your in that panic state that your about to be hit, I stop and i get out of the car and i run over to him.

"Are you okay? i am so so so sorry i really didn't mean i guess i just wasn't paying attention i swear if i hit you i wi-."I heard a chuckle and i looked over at him.

"I'm fine i swear i know you didn't mean it i think."I just about melted there at his voice.So deep and husky.

"I am truly sorry." "No you are fine i mean you didn't hit me or anything."I just nod and sigh.

"Hey look i have to go but thank you for not hitting me."I nod my head and i smile."Well your welcome."He nods with a sly smile and walks away. I shake my head and i get back into my new car, see there it goes again.

"What the hell just happened." Alexis says out of breath.

"I almost hit him so nothing really." I say but in internally i am shiting myself."Nothing really, Bitch we've.. well you could've hurt somebody and all you have to say is nothing really." She slaps her forehead with her hand and slide her hand down her face.

"At least carter Campbell spoke to me." I said with shrugged shoulders. She laughs and puts her seat belt on, And this time we gracefully drive out of the parking spot and we turn on the radio, And now playing is 'Sweater Weather' by the neighbourhood.

Alexis and i Look at each other with a smile, Because we both know what this means.

"It's too cold for you here, And know so let me hold both your hands in the arms of my sweater."We sing vigorously loud, Using all the energy produced within us to sing, When the song ends Alexis turns down the radio.

"Hey do you think we can get Taco bell?" "Yeah sure."

I took a quick turn on to a alleyway to get there quicker, I had saw it in my view and hurried across the busy street into a parking space , I reached down in my little pouch in my glove compartment, Remembering my mom had told me she put some money in there I grabbed Ten dollars and shut my door and locked the car, Walking in i saw the same people i saw in here every time i came here, Including Mason and his little clique, I mean like really people out of all places who the hell chooses 'Taco bell' to hang out in.

We walk up to the counter to place in our orders, I order a Crunchy taco supreme and A mountain dew Baja Blast, While Alexis ordered a regular hard shell taco and a root beer, we Paid for our orders and sat down at a table, We weren't staying i just didn't feel like standing and waiting, While we waited Alexis and i engaged in a conversation on what we are going to do this weekend, and how school was, We usually talk about the real stuff at eachother's houses, And while we were talking i saw someone standing at our table from the corner of my eye i looked up and just with my luck it was, Mason what the hell does he want he is already coming over my house later on so why in front of all these people is he coming up to me.

"Yes sir how may i help you?"I asked. "I was just coming over here to confirm i am still coming over and that i hope you know that I am taking this seriously, so like you said earlier in Drama don't fuck it up for me."He ended with a smile and walked away....Jackass.

"You Piece of Shit."I yelled at him causing a few Customers to look over my way.

"You Female dog."He said over his shoulder. Did this Nigga Bitch just call me a bitch.  I was just about to go up to him when Alexis pulled my arm down and indicated that our orders were done, I huffed and walked up to the counter to retrieve our food and leave the place full of Buttbuddied teenagers.

I got in my car, I didn't say 'new car' because i am too damn heated, I dropped Alexis off at her home and told her to call me later, when i got home only my father was home, My dad is a preacher but he isn't crazy when it comes to letting me do things, I mean i still go to church every Sunday but i can have freedom as long as my grades are good and I'm not getting in trouble.

"Dad im home." "Hey, How was school."He asked coming into view. I set my things down on the kitchen counter and turned to look at him.

"School was school but i did get Juliet in Romeo and Juliet considering i always am picked for leads, and Today Romeo is coming over so we can rehearse if that is okay with you."I said taking my things out of the bag, And going upstairs.

"Yeah it's fine if he doesn't try anything funny." I laugh at my dad's protectiveness."Dad i promise you nothing will happen."And with that being said I hurried upstairs into my bedroom i switched my school clothes out for a big shirt and some shorts, And when i was done  i turned on my T.V. to The Braxton Family Values, and while watching i eat my food, when finished i go downstairs to throw away the wrapper, I look at the time 4:56pm, I headed back upstairs and onto my messy bed, To take a nap.

I am awoke by somebody opening my door and slamming it, And as i flutter my eyes to regain consciousness I see that same tight and grey shirt walking over to my bed.

"Did you miss me?"He says with his signature smirk, How in the world did this air head get in my house and who the hell let him in...Mom she probably did she always did this shit when i met new people but it dosen't work being that i only have one Best friend and friends, And because she thinks meeting new people means having a happier life and im just like mom are you mentally stupid.

"Go to hell you nuisance." I said turning over and putting my head under my pillow.

I suddenly hear shuffling and i feel a dip on the side of my bed and something hitting me in my stomach causing me to groan, I feel around for the item and it my Converse.

"Get the hell up."

Well damn I didn't think Working with my love would be this Hard...
