Leiah's Pov

I was Quickly trying to Gain another breath As the Ambulance arrived at the school only moments later And i was then lifted onto a stretcher and was rolled out of the nurses office, And down the hallway Laying down helpless i felt as though i couldn't move not one muscle in my body I tried moving my fingers and moving my toes, but no luck and i felt as a baby would trying to crawl It seemed as i was rolled down the endless hallway A few had looked through the small Rectangular window through each class door The few minutes it took for the paramedics to roll me down and outside of the school Felt like hours.

They had placed an oxygen mask over my face to help me breath Being a few moments ago it was very hard Soon after i was placed into the Ambulance i started to feel My eyes get heavy, like something being placed over them when in reality i just for some reason couldn't keep my eyes open.

"I need my parents, Where are my parents?" Was the question i asked over and over and over again, and had recieved the same response 'They will meet you there' After being told twice, My eyes had started to be evaded by a dark covering And after fighting several minutes to keep my eyes open My eye Lids had collapsed completely.

I felt completely rested, My eyes had almost instantly flew up i still felt weak but strong enough to be able to move my fingers and toes again When i looked up my eyes had been blinded by a Bright Light, i had pulled my arm up to cover my eyes As a Doctor with a white coat came into view.

"Hi how are you feeling?" She asked Worried and sincerly, she looked to be about in her early twenties, She had Light Blonde hair and Very beautiful green eyes, and Pearly white teeth.

"Im feeling better just a little weak." I said dryly, and she gave me a quick smile, before writing something down on a clipboard, "Am i going to be okay" I asked worried? "Yeah honey, but your leukemia has started spreading, and we will have to start going in Your regular treatment's but maybe more than we usally do, you had just passed out and started to feel weak because of the spreading, But it didnt go very far, just far enough." She said, Soothingly, My mouth was dry and my lips Were chapped, I seriously needed something to drink I was hungry too but i didnt want to barbade her with Requests so i would just wait, even though my stomach didnt want to.

"Dr.....?" "Lauren" She said quickly. "Dr.Lauren can i please have something to drink?" I asked as nicely as my dry hoarse voice could ask possible, She said a quick 'Yeah i'll be back' and walked out of the door, but not before writing on the white board across the room.

I was terribly bored, I looked over to the window to see that it had fallen dark outside And all i could see were the millions of stars, Just twinkling and the Sadness of this room was help adding to my boredness the plain Colors on each wall and the Basic Painting of a Vase and a flower, and the Scuffed Tiled floor and the creepy Pale Lights hanging above my head, The only things that really is Lighting up my mood, Are the two colored chairs in the corner of the room That Seem to be comfortable enough to sit in and This hospital bed, it's comfortable and is really soothing on my weak and aching bones.

I had noticed there was a tv in the left corner of the room, and the remote was on the left of me, I reached as far as a could get with my finger tips touching the end, before i grabbed it completely and sat back so i that i could continue to recover I hit the power button on the remote, and started to skip and turn, through channels.

When i heard the door open A nurse had come back with a Drink of Ginger-ale and ice, Along with Mason.

I mean i atleast thought i would see my parents first, But least to say i was happy to see him He came in with my bag, and Chick-Fil-a He came in and looked very exhausted he had On baggy sweats and a a hoodie and some roshe runs, He then walked to the left side and pulled one of those seats that looked Very comfy to me And sat down he grabbed my hand and Kissed it and smiled at me.

"How are you feeling" He asked Worriedly and Doubtly Taking the food out of the bag and handing a chicken sandwhich, as well as some fries. "Im feeling Better, just sore" I Said to reassure him, I was Okay but in reality i was scared as hell.

"That's very good to hear, So do the Doctor's know what happened?" He asked curiously, "Yeah they said it was Very Bad food poisoning, and they had to pump my stomach."I said trying to make it sound real, I was Such a Scary ass, I wanted to tell him but i couldnt, I just couldn't bare losing something that had made me happy for a few days I really needed him Although his negative energy could be hard sometimes, The Positive really and always brightened my day.

"I was just, Worried and Undoubtly, Scared i didn't know i was just in class and heard some girls spea--" i had to cut him off for his constant rambling, It was starting to make my head hurt, "Babe, it is okay i understand, im Just happy your here." I said smiling. Though it's only been a few days and ive known him for forever its great to see he's Here for me.

He nodded and looked around. "Well did your parents come see you?" He asked with an eyebrow raised, "No not ye-" And i was cut off by my parents who ran into the Room Very worried Asking a million questions at once, "Mom, Dad Im fine im Very Fine, Im just sore and I have a headache." I said eating the food mason had just brought me moments ago.

"Well sweetheart sorry we are just getting here i was at work and i was caught in traffic, and i went home to get you some clothes and your laptop, And some Midnight Snacks, I know how Hospital food can be." She said laying down my items gently next to my bag, I Gave her a quick 'Thank you and i love you' And looked at my dad who seemed to be upset standing in the corner trying to keep a smile, And i looked over at mason who was Just Tapping away on his phone.

"Mason, Can you give me and my parents a few minutes" I asked politely, "Yeah sure no problem." He said he gave me a Quick kiss on the forehead, and walked out.

"Mom, Dad he doesn't know yet." I said sitting up a bit. "What do you mean he doesn't know" My dad asked sitting at the foot of the bed.

"I mean he doesn't know and im not going to tell him until, i feel the time and place is right, We have    only been dating for about three days, i don't want to just up and tell him and drop this load on his shoulder's" I said Sadly, "Well sweetheart your going to have to tell him, but until then just keep living your life as a normal teen" My Mom said soothingly looking at my dad, Who agreed with her.

"Okay" I said Yawning. "Well baby girl, Your probably tired so we will be back here early tommorow morning." My father said getting off of the bed, And recollecting himself Before walking over and giving me a kiss on my forehead Followed by my mother.

A few seconds later mason had come back in and We finished the food he brought talking about our date on friday Soon after he began to yawn So i moved over a little and Asked if he wanted to come lay down with me He Was hesistant before he got on and Layed down I turned on my side And He wrapped his arm around me, Tonight i went to sleep with a million things on my mind but one in particular, Mason Alexander is all mine.

Walking to My Marine Biology class to retake a Quiz that i hadn't done so well on i found it harder to breath with each step i took, and i felt my legs getting Heavier and heavier i had to lean onto the lockers for support, until i just collapsed on the Dirty ground right in front of me.

I heard people yelling to get the nurse, but soon that was all Blocked out by a loud Ringing noise, and Complete darkness, I was fighting to open my eyes, and i couldn't.

The nurse had ran to my side with a security guard who had picked me up and ran me to the nurses office i was laid down on one of the hard dark green beds, And i heard Her getting help from another Lady working in the office.

"Put a wet rag on her forhead." I heard, and Soon enough i felt the cooling sensation, of that wet rag, Because my body had been burning up, I regained my vision, though it was blurry i could see, and In no time I was Placed on a stretcher.
