Emma, why must you be so dramatic? Jake’s back. Now, where was I?

“What should I do first?” I asked.

“Try transformation.” Said Fenris casually.

“What!”

“Your heard me. Try transforming into a wolf.”

“How am I supposed to do that?”

“The Wolf’s crawl.” He said, acting as though it was completely obvious. I rolled my eyes.

“You realize it’s not that easy, right?”

He shrugged. “How would I know? I’m not a human.”

I threw my hands up. “Exactly! That’s exactly what I mean.” He raised his eyebrows, but said nothing. In desperation, I tried it.

I got down on all fours and began to wolf crawl. The sensation was amazing. I was tingling all over. I could feel the fur spurting out my skin.

“Roar.” I said sarcastically.

“Scary!” He said back. “Try it this way. ROAR!!!!!!!”

“Nice!”

“Thank you, now you try.”

“Okay.” I tried so hard my throat almost popped out. But that work paid off with a loud “ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Fenris himself jumped back.

“Impressive!” He said.

“Thank you very much.” I said it with pride; it is an honor to be complemented by a god you know, so if you ever meet one, don’t take it lightly.

“I’ve been working on it.”

“For the last five seconds.” He sneered. I growled, and he growled back. There was something about it alone that made my hair (fur) stand on end.

“What next?”

“Retransformation I guess.”

“What do you mean?”

“Transform back into a person, duh.”

“How am I supposed to do that? Oh wait, I forgot: The person crawl?” I was extremely sarcastic, and Fenris could tell.

For those of you how have never been in an angry wolf’s presence before let me assure you, you would rather be in a dumpster.

“Do not insult me child, or I will kill you.” I stepped back quickly because I did not want to be wolf god dinner.

“So what do I do then?”

“Try standing like a person. Or do they float? It’s been a while since I’ve seen one move.”

“They stand.”

“O.K. Stand like a person does.” I stood, kind of wobbly at first but possible.

I could feel the fur dissolving into dust and falling off my body

“Wow,” I said then I felt a tuft of hair fall from my head “AHHHH! I’m going bald!!!” Then my head tingled and my hair sprouted back. “PHEW!”

“HA!!” Fenris laughed.

 “What’s so funny?” I asked.

“You really thought you were going bald! HA!”

I scowled. “Well let’s see you try beat me, then.”

Fenris smiled, a wolfish (well, he is a wolf), mischievous smile, telling me he would like nothing more. “Challenge accepted
