CHAPTER 9
> OLIVIA <
I COME HOME the first thing in the morning, just like I'd promised Savannah. I open the door, worry and concern gripping me. This is the longest I have spent away from dad.
Savannah isn't usually home at this time and as much as I want to check on dad, I don't. It's still early and I don't want to wake him up before his own schedule. It will only make him panic. So, I take off my clothes and take a long, steamy shower.
My thoughts are scattered all over the place. I feel hollow, happy, glad, excited... the list goes on and on. And they're all because of one person. One man.
Seven.
I close my eyes and lean my head to the cold tiles of the shower. My breathing is heavy and I can't help but remember how his hands felt on my body. My hips, my waist... my ass. The way we'd rubbed desperately into each other and the growing ache and pulsating sensation between my legs. I now realize that I'd been awfully close to climaxing in that moment.
Oh, god.
I have to bite my lip to not groan out loud. Only Seven has ever made me feel this... this good. And with a touch so small, nevertheless. We hadn't even kissed or really touched each other's bodies and I'd been on cloud nine.
For some reason, I have an awful suspicion that he might be the only one able to evoke such feelings and sensations in me.
Is it even possible to climax with so little? With someone like Seven, I think a simple touch of fingers would set me off like a rocket.
I shake my head and turn the hot water off. After these thoughts, I need to have an ice cold shower.

After I've finished my shower and dressed in sweats, I go into the kitchen and prepare dad's meds and his apple juice. Just when I'm about to pour the juice, I hear a thump behind me and I jump up, screaming
''It's just me, Paul!''
I turn around, a hand gripping my chest. Paul is standing in the kitchen door, dressed in black pants and a white shirt, his brown hair messy and eyes sleepy. I let myself relax a bit.
''Jesus!'' I mutter and take a deep breath. ''I'm sorry. I'm just so jumpy.''
Paul smiles and waves my apology away. ''Nah, it's my fault. I should've said something. Besides, after the last time... you're entitled to react like that.'' I pale a little recalling the time Huge Blonde's men came here with their guns and threatened me and Savannah. Seven's friend - Von? - saved us just barely.
I also got to meet Seven for the second time that day.
I have the sudden urge to smile and I turn my back at Paul so he doesn't see it happen. He'll probably think I'm nuts.
