CHAPTER 6
> SEVEN <
''I NEED IT to be done today.''
I'm at The Apartment, - that's what I like it to be called - a simple two-bedroom apartment me and Von share. It's located in the suburbs of the town, near the public services such as the police station and the hospital. I'd been wary of buying an apartment so close to everything me and Von need to stay the hell away from, but logic battled me.
It's important to be close the action.
Here, we hear and see more than we would if we lived further away from the town. We know everything we need to know about the local police, so much in fact, that we've concluded an alliance. It's not strong yet nor hundred percent certain - but it's enough for us to have some connections to the FBI and then, if Von knows what he's doing, with the CIA.
We have something important they want and in order for us to give it to them, they'll keep the law off our backs. Me and Von are free to do anything we want, and they will cover the traces that would ultimately lead to us. A deal that works for all of us.
''It's not going to be easy.''
I know that even before Von opens his mouth. This is going to be hard, possibly and potentially the hardest thing we've done to date.
But I need it to be done.
I'd left the second Olivia fell asleep on the sofa, close enough from me to bite back a groan every time she moaned in her sleep. Not able to bear it anymore, I'd picked her up pretty fast and taken her to her bed. Olivia hadn't even flinched, she'd been that tired. I'd secured the cottage and gotten the hell away from her.
Something inside of me gets hotter, almost to a burning degree whenever I think of her the way I'd seen her yesterday - small, dressed only in her tank top and those fucking white panties.
And of course, things start to harden downstairs too. I've been battling to find a sitting position that won't strangle my hard cock for hours now. She's like a movie that keeps rewinding in my mind. I can't stop thinking about her - her small, lithe body, her face with those big, innocent eyes and pump, red lips. This, me, not being able to focus is foreign. Unusual. It needs to stop.
And that's exactly why I'm here with Von right now. The faster we kill Morgan, the faster Olivia can return to her own home. Away from me and these thoughts swirling inside of my head.
''Ye know, Seven, yer one crazy motherfecker. If we're going to do this now, without days planning, we have to think this through'', Von huffs and throws three files at me. ''Morgan is as delusional as it gets. He has more guards than the POTUS.''
I look at him blankly. ''We can do this.''
''We're not fecking immortal, whanker. If we don't plan this out good, we won't succeed in killing him. Get that through ye thick skull.''
''I need Morgan out'', I say harshly and try to dampen the fury inside of me. ''He'll find Olivia and kill her if we don't act soon. I'm not letting that happen.'' The idea of someone hurting Olivia makes me see literally red - something I can not control no matter how much I try.
Von narrows his eyes. ''Ye fancy the chick, is that it?''
Saying that I'm only mildly annoyed by Von in this very moment would be an understatement. He never asks me anything unless it's either business or to annoy me. But now, it's neither of those two options.
