I woke up the next morning to Keanu pressed up against me with his hand over my stomach. I turned over to look at him and he was awake too.
He leaned in to kiss me on the lips and then moved up to my forehead. The kind of gentleman he was. "Don't tease me" I said laughing
"I don't wanna go too fast or anything. I want you to see that I'm different from them before I wake up next to you again. Before I kiss you again." His voice was husky and low. Just the way he had described Jesse & Marlon as "them" showed a sense of respect that made me love him even more.
"Okay," I said "then why don't you ask me out on another date" I laughed into his chest and grabbed his bicep, bringing myself closer to him
"Well I will! But not now. Because the surprise of the question is important so I'll wait." He kissed my cheek this time
"You are SUCH a romantic" I said obnoxiously rolling my eyes purposefully & jokingly, and then smiled, stealing a morning kiss from him.
"But I am not. So I had to do that." I winked at him and he laughed. We got out of bed at the same time as if we had planned it.
He got dressed quickly while I opened the door to see if I could hear any baby talk, meaning Cheryl brought Louis home. But she didn't so I closed the door and turned back around.
We walked towards each other and he grabbed my face, resting his chin on top of my head and then - another kiss on the forehead.
"I have to go. I have a fish."
We laughed hysterically and I snorted again, accidentally of course.
"A fish?!" I couldn't stop laughing "Well yeah a fish!" He said still laughing too, "I have to feed him!"
I hugged him so tight and held him so close and let out a deep breath
"Okay." I said "It was nice not having sex with you." I laughed again. "Sorry, I'm sorry! I'm such a kid"
He shook his head and chuckled "Yeah but I like it," he said rubbing my back "it was nice not having sex with you too."
I smiled and nudged my head into his neck.
"But I'll be waiting for that rain check whenever you're ready" and as he said that I looked up at him
"I'll be ready" I said "soon." He let go of me as I let go of him and he walked to the door.
"See you soon" he said with a half smile.
"Bye," I said as if I was going to say something after it, but never did.
He left and afterwards I got into the shower and thought about a lot.
Like how the hell any of what happened last night happened and about how much I liked Keanu. I thought a lot about Louis and how this would affect him and I could only hope it was positively.
But I knew it would positive when I got out of the shower and checked my phone only to see a text message from Keanu saying
: "Wanna go on another date?"
That man. He's something else, he really is.
