L's POV
I ran across the playground, little wood chips stabbing my bare feet. I sat on the swing and Watari came up behind and started pushing.
"Wheeee!" I said, laughing.
Looking over, I noticed a little brown haired boy sitting alone on a swing. I jumped off and immediately regretted it, getting a face full of wood. I stood up, brushing off my dirty white shirt. I ran over to the boy, Watari following close behind.
"Hi! My name is-" Watari cut me off. I looked back at him in protest.
"Hello child. This is L, and I am Watari." He said. I glared up at him. I didn't understand why he didn't want people to know my name.
The boy looked up, his brown eyes sparkling.
".....Hi...." He said quietly. "....My name is Light."
"Hey! Our names both start with L! We should be friends!" I said, smiling.
He smiled back. "That would be nice."
Okay guys forwarning, there will be bits of LawLight fluff, but this is not a LawLight fanfic so it is not canon. This is L x Reader 100%, so don't be worried
