Alright you guys asked for this so I'll give it to ya~

Get ready for stuffs~

I leaped out of bed and rushed to the window. The street light outside wasn't quite enough to allow me to see, but I could make out a silhouette. I quickly ran outside to see, but all I could was get a glimpse of the silhouette disappearing between houses.

Now it's your turn to have the spotlight!

I was standing beneath the street light catching my breath when I heard something. I held my breath, sweat beading my forehead. Maybe a midnight jog was a bad idea after all. There are all kinds of bears, foxes, and coyotes roaming the neighborhood at night. I gazed into the blackness once more before turning away.

Suddenly, a hand wrapped around my neck. I screamed, but another hand slapped onto my mouth and muffled it. This midnight jog was most definitely a bad idea.

Okey back to L-sies~

I ran after the silhouette and hid at the corner of the alley. I allowed my eyes to adjust to the darkness, then bolted in. I saw a man pinning something to the house's wall, so I ran up to him. I swung my leg around and my foot connected with the side of his head. He stumbled to the side a bit. I pushed him farther away, then did a low sweep with my leg.

This time my foot hit his legs and swept him off his feet. He landed on his back, and that knocked the wind out if him. I kicked him one more time in the head and knocked him unconscious. I turned back to see the other figure bent over. I led them back out to the street light.

It was that girl.

Y'all ready fo dis? I'll do a retell from yours truly's POV. Let's go!~

I struggled as the man pinned me to the wall, trying to take my shirt off. Suddenly he was gone and I heard grunts. I bent over and started hyperventilating. Everything was dark and I was confused and traumatized and scared. An arm gently wrapped around my back and led me back towards the light. It was good I could see again.

Once in the streetlight, I saw who my savior was. It was that one guy that was staring at me in class. Wow, if I had known he was gonna pull something like this, I wouldn't have glared at him like that!

I should probably have you two introduce to each other. I hate calling you guys "that one girl" and Law-chan "that one guy". Anyway, we're going back to L's POV

I looked at her, little beads of sweat collecting on her forehead. She was wearing a(n) [f/c] tanktop with black legging-shorts. Her [h/l], [h/c] was pulled back into a ponytail. On her feet were a pair of Nike✓™(😂) cross-country shoes. Had she been... Jogging? At midnight?

I looked at her questioningly, and she held up a finger as she stood, bent, panting, with her hands on her knees. After a moment, she stood upright and faced me. Beneath her hard expression, I glimpsed a soft spot in her soul through her stunning [e/c] eyes. She was like an innocent little bunny. Then she spoke.

"Who are you, exactly?"

I was shocked at her tone of voice. Her voice had a very soft sound to it, but she had an angry expression in her voice. It was odd. Confusing, even for me.

"I uh... I.." I stammered. I remembered what Watari had told me. Even Light still didn't know my real name after all these years. I can't tell her. "My name is..... Ryuzaki." I finished. It was actually kind of hard, making up a name on the spot like that.

"May I ask who you are?" I prompted.

She hesitated, then spoke once more.

"My name is [y/n]."

".....That's it? Just [y/n]?" I asked.

"That's it? Just Ryuzaki?" She replied.

"Well played."

She chuckled a bit, then straightened and stood rock still. I did the same, unsure quite why. I was about to ask and she shushed me.

"I heard something." She whispered, barely loud enough to hear. I listened intently. But I couldn't hear a thing. She turned to me.

"What happened to that one guy?" She whispered.

Oh no.

I had just left him there unconscious. What if he regained consciousness and escaped? I should've tied him or something....! I'm so stupid.....

My silence must've answered her question, because she slowly started walking towards the now abandoned alleyway. She peered down through and a look of dread crossed her face. I looked too. My fears were recognized.

The man was no longer lying on the cement. He was gone.

Oh no. Ohhhh no... This is bad... Really, really bad.....

[Y/n] walked in front of me to investigate the alley further, looking for a hiding spot that he might be in. Then I felt pain in my neck and someone standing behind me. A knife was pressed into my neck, almost enough to draw blood. I opened my mouth to speak when the knife pressed harder. I heard a gruff voice following it.

"Do not speak a word or you will lose your precious life."

[Y/n] turned and gasped. She covered her mouth and backed away from us into a dark corner. The man slowly started walking forward, and I had to walk with him or my throat would be slit open.

I trembled as I slowly walked forward. I couldn't deal with this anymore. I kicked behind me and I heard a grunt. Then I realized it wasn't the best choice I could've made. As he stumbled backwards, he ran the knife across my throat. I ran my fingers across the cut and examined them. Blood covered my fingers, red as the sky around a setting sun.

The world toppled as I fell to the ground.

I am not one to spoil a story. But I will say that this is nowhere close to the end. We haven't even had much LawLight and no LxReader moments at all. Keep reading! Hehehehe~
