We've got James, the oldest son of the famous Harry and Ginny Potter. Strong, funny and confident. Just the name conjours images of mischeif, mayham and close escapes...
But then there's Claudia. Stubborn, thick skinned and a sucker for a pair of big brown eyes. You don't know much about her, but you will and you'll come to fight her corner.

Dropping his bag onto the floor, James looked around his small dirty apartment and let out a sigh of relief. Sarah had actually gone. He’d been trying to dump her for months, giving her ample time to leave his flat and go back to her mother’s by taking jobs around the world… he’d spent the last two months deep in the amazon helping his Uncle Charlie determine a newly discovered breed of dragons.
“You’re back then.” A female voice snapped and James fought back a paddy. “Took you long enough, why didn’t you let me know you were safe?”
“Sarah.” He growled, turning around and seeing the tall, dark haired woman standing in the doorway to their – his bedroom. “I’m sick of this!”
“Of me James? I thought you loved me.”
“You cheated on me.” he roared, not being able to hold back his frustration. “Again and again and again; what part of we’re through move, back to your mother's don’t you understand?!”
“I don’t cheat James.” She hissed, walking over and raising a hand to slap him. “You desert me on a regular basis.”
“I work where and when I can.” He snapped letting her hand slam against his face, “I earn four times the amount you do.”
“It’s why I love you James.”
“Do I need to physically throw you out of my flat?”
“Our flat.”
“Do you contribute in any financial way?” he asked with a laugh, “Of course not, your money is yours while mine is yours too.”
“You can’t throw me out anyway.” She smirked, stepping closer again and grabbing his hand forcefully.

Claudia couldn’t help the giggles as she sat between her brother and sister; it was the first of august and her first ever Hogwarts letter should be coming today. Charlie had gotten his first letter two years ago and Chrissy was due her first too; being twins they did everything together, in a slightly different way but more than often holding hands. The moment the owl tapped on the window their father jumped to his feet eager to hand the letters to each of his children.
“It’s going to be amazing!” Chrissy whispered, “I hope we get into the same house.”
“Me too.” Claudia gushed; she’d never really been apart from her twin just when their muggle primary school classes are split up for Maths and English lessons. “It’s going to be so good.”
“Dad, are you okay?” Charlie asked, snatching their attention to their father who was standing in the doorway looking furiously at the letters in his hand.
The two letters in his hand.
“Patrick?” Their mother asked, stepping forward as he glared at her. “What is it?”
“Charles.” Their father said softly, passing him his letter leaving just one remaining.
“Did they just send one for the girls?” Their mother asked softly; they only got one from their muggle school.
“Christina.” He stated, passing her the last letter. “Evie, Claudia is not going to Hogwarts.”
“But they’re twins!” She gasped, taking the letter from Chrissy to search for Claudia’s name. “How can this be, you told me they would all be like you!”
“Apparently I was wrong.” He snarled, turning on his heel and leaving the house.
